Do you hate the U.S?

America is just like Korea in the sense of how divided we are, Democrats can't seem to agree with Republicans and vice versa. I have lived in 4 states which were all completely diffrent from the people to the way everything was run in that particulare state and I can tell you America on the news is not the true America the news only seeks out the bad in the world and rarely ever the good. America has some good qualities and some bad. But that's the way it'll always be as long as man and woman can argue with each other they will.

When you talk to American's as individuals, they're not the soul sucking, arrogant, flag holding idiot everyone likes to make them sound. But a lot of them are bible waving and they are ruining this country by basing laws off of religion.
I guess it's a good thing I am an athiest. There is such a thing between seperation of Church and Government and we Americans seem to have forgotten that. The church has no say in politics, and the government has no say in religion.

I have neither a like nor a dislike for the states. By my experience I would rather say that you could come to dislike certain areas of the states. The main problem is that due to the tradition, history and roots of the different states and cultural major/minorities living there, the picture starts to look significantly different.
Also, so far I haven't been to the states (nor do I feel a strong urge to go there), so I won't judge by the appearance in the media etc. Because the first thing you know NOT to trust when it comes to destinctive information and truth is the media :P

I hate their Racism.
I hate the way they killed our people and turned history around to make it sound like they are the heroes.
I hate their superiority complex that belittles everyone else.
I hate that they call us allies but gives our country crappy secondhand weaponry.
I hate that the world puts them on the pedestal and their land is seen as Olympus, where everyone dreams to go there.
I don't hate the U.S. but I hate what they did and what they do.

-Yes, I'm personally a racist with black people, but we're not burning them or anything
-Philippines, and what they wrote as history during the Philippine-American war is mostly bullcrap on how we started the war. Listen, our people knew we can't win a war against such a huge enemy so we don't have a reason to start it. Plus its not a war... its pretty much massacre
-Yes, its not America's problem that my countrymen dream of going there because it looks like a giant pot of gold with douchebags hiding under, but that's how it is.

As for the Philippine Revolutionaries declaring war on America first, that is the truth. You say just because the country was under-armed, means they wouldn't declare war on a country. History has proven that this hasn't stopped anyone from declaring war on a superior country. For example:
French Revolution
American Civil War
Anglo-Zulu War

People are people and should be treated as such. I know a couple of people who are racist but the majority of people I know are not racist and seem to devote massive amounts of time and effort to stopping racism.

Listen, our people knew we can't win a war against such a huge enemy so we don't have a reason to start it. Plus its not a war... its pretty much massacreI'll start with a quote "History is written by the victors". Of course America made themselves the heroes. No one posts themselves as the bad guy, as America see's it they were trying to give the people better lives under it's control. It's just like how you have turned it so that America is the bad guy and the Philippines are the good guy, and there is no fault of the Philippines it's all on America. I really don't know much about this conflict so I don't know who started it or why just that is happened before WW1 and a lot has changed since then.

-Yes, its not America's problem that my countrymen dream of going there because it looks like a giant pot of gold with douchebags hiding under, but that's how it is. Why exactly is people wanting to live in America a negative. America has a high standard of living, and is a great place to live if I say so myself. People wanting to live here is just a product of the country they currently living in not giving them something they want, what that is differs from person to person. Though most people see America as the country that has everything; and it falls short of that by a lot. Though it has that illusion of the perfect country, and is it wrong for people to dream of living in a perfect country even if it's not true.

No, not specifically. I like my country a lot, actually. There many things that need addressing and 'facts' that need to be dug up from their grave of lies, half-truths, and denial, but this is true in any country.

It's still just one shaft in the people's ass, more or less.
They disagree about things like gay marriage and abortion, things that don't matter and have no relevance to the real running of the country, but will get people all riled up and concerned.
The only thing they really seem to disagree on that is important is this whole war business, and even then that's mostly just a lot of noise and fluster, not much of a significant disagreement.

Point 1: I don't think anyone burns people willingly... at least not on a stake these days (though of course there are arsonists everywhere :P)
Point 2: As PD said earlier, people often start a war, for the most denial reasons, even if they are outnumbered, outgunned etc and make it seem heroic. A small example: The danishmen like to point out their superior warfare against Germany in WWII and claim to have fought actively against the Germans... they entered the war 2 days before Germany surrendered. Not that I blame them to be honest, but what I want to show with that example is quite simple. Countries always dye their thread of history in their own color and try to make it stand out in the best way they can, especially if not too many others know about it.
Point 3: Look at the modern economy. Every single buisnessman will try to get the best deal out of everything, that is his job. And in our modern days capitalism that holds true for almost every country with a powerful economy.

On what facts are you basing this on? My grandfather served as a water boy for the Japanese Imperial Army during WWII, so that his family would not beheaded by them. At midnight at the local his High School the Japanese beheaded a innocent person every night, to lure out the Filipino Rebels in the mountains. My grandfather also served in the U.S. Navy. During that time the only foreign country that was allow to be enlisted into the USA military were Filipinos, because of their courage during WWII.
During natural disasters ( floods, mud slides, volcano eruption) who is the first to be there? The USA is the first on the scene. May I remind you of the Princess of Star incident.

The Philippines doesn't have superiority complex? It's all over the Philippines, I know this very well because I went to school in St.Benilde. It's also called " Crab Mentality" and "Colonial Mentality" in our country.

You think the Philippines army can afford a million dollar Fighter Jet? The Abu Saiyaf fight in the mountains do you think a huge tank can maneuver through the thick jungle? Besides, the Philippines Army is known for their Jungle tactics, why do you think the Marines go there to learn from them?

The USA is a big melting pot of different races and backgrounds. Hey our current President is an African- American, the USA has changed since your Philippine-American war.
Do you see the U.N. giving relief missions in greater numbers than the USA in the Philippines? A big example is the flood that hit our country last week.

The USA has donated $100,000 and deployed a military helicopter and five rubber boats manned by about 20 American soldiers from the country's south, where they have been providing counterterrorism training. The United Nations Children's Fund and the World Food Program have also provided food and other aid.

What did the USA do wrong exactly? They did something in the past to the Philippines? USA introduced public education system to RP, that was a very terrible thing.

Let me ask you my fellow Filipino countryman, has our country improved since the USA left?

I hate people who clump all Americans together or even saying majority. are people saying they personally know every American individual and have talked or hung out with them?
Don't give judgment of Americans as a whole just because you hate a few people.(adding media also since a lot of people are doing that)
Just because someone labeled the title of a book "Porn" doesn't mean its contents are necessarily filled with it.
If you live in America and you hate Americans then its most likely your community just sucks or is just not to your liking.
This also goes for visitors.(the community they visited sucks)
I read in an earlier post saying Americans are closed minded. that rather funny because are people not closed minded for hating Americans as a whole group?

That's an interesting question i have a few friends there and there cool and properly most ppl from there are but judged on a whole they are quite a stupid race. Most things i hear from talk show from the states are about mothers and ppl whingeing about stupid not important crap and the fact that i live in a country were America influences quite alot and they don't realize it that makes me sad and angry.like they even want to rise the drinking age to 21 because of America which is so stupid and you hear American mums whingeing about the 18 year old son drinking and having parties here the drinking age is 18 and by then your out of the house trying to make it on your own and that is why i wont America to wake up or be destroyed ether way is good for me.there are so many reasons i hate them and there is no real defence for them as they judged on there actions and what we see. END OF STORY

I like the U.S. Gave us a place to live (maybe even better place to live) when we were about to be massacred by the Vietcong. That's pretty nice in my book.

Um, did you just judge America based on a DAYTIME TALKSHOW?! Are you trying to sound like you didn't do your research? Moms whining about drinking kids is because they're bad moms. Bad moms exist EVERYWHERE. You complain about raising the drinking age because America did. Go out and buy some shit anyway. Probably didn't stop half the kids in your country when they were under 18.
The willingness to leave the house and make your own life isn't a problem restricted to America. Japan, for instance, has a booming NEET population (Not Employed, Educated, or in Training) which is part of the reason their economy is rapidly sliding down the oh-shit slide.
