Indonesia/Malaysia Fault??

I think it was more to the ones who did the ad didnt research deep enough the roots to see if its okay to include it in the ad.Sometimes its too old,not having records and having similar cultures.
If they use it fine, but that does not stop you from practicing it.Just keep moving along.
Its similar to curry.Japanese have it,Indian have it,thailands have it.But none have disputed "THATS MAH CURRY!you cant use the word curry as my culture made it,so its solely for my culture's use."

Why don't we just become friend again once again?
And the one that really really fault is the fucking media
They are make small problem become big so people will buy their newspaper.

@Garou: Lol, I'm in no way thinking about badmouthing you guys...what i wanted to say is that this kinda stuff is not worth bitching about. Both countries got much more important issues to deal with. I don't agree with what malaysia did, but neither do I to indonesia's rage. by the way, in what way would what malaysia did will affect indonesia anyway? it's not like that mere ad can stop you guys from practicing that culture. there are ways to protect cultures, and I don't think this is one of them. You can have millions of cultural patents, but if you don't practice it, it's still not your culture.LOL,sorry for the misunderstanding, really. you right, this is not the right way.

Lol, I'll answer this one by one.
1. Malaysia and Indonesia are of same ethnical group, so our cultures are largely the same.
2. Monneh of course. Ini iklan ya bu, sudah tentulah untuk menjana wang rupiah...
3. Brr...hate, again? Those who think they're hated are usually the ones hating...
4. Manohara? I don't think this have anything to do with it...

whooa, when i first read it, i didn't see the word "Manohara". This woman is really a bitch man, by taking a chance that she was supported by most of Indonesian (i think the not educated one, most of Indonesian is still affected by TV infotaintment-gossip too much and they don't think rationally that they were bitched by this woman) and now, she become an actress! While we were arguing about the future of both country, this bitch is now live peacefully.

Yeah, Indonesia and Malaysia actually the same(majorly), as you can see from the skin colour, faces, language(actually Indonesia that was taking the Melayu language as their basic of language,). The problem is the region, different nation different culture(but actually Indonesia and Malaysia are neighbors, so who can blame it?)....
About Manohara.... I don't like her "lebaynisme" attitude. Did the Malaysians really tortured her like that? And as you can see, she's the Indonesian's new actress now. Damn.
I'm an Indonesian, you know.

And i thought this post was long forgotten... By the way it is pointless to continue. Reason? Unless Indonesian buck up with their culture and education to a certain status, why the commotion on this?

Yeah, as you can see, Indonesians just hurrily getting the copyright of their culture after the pendet dance advertisement in Malaysia, why we are so slow? Why don't we, Indonesians get the copyrights of our culture from long long time ago?

Aren't Indonesians and Malaysians are basically the same?
They're all Javanese (Jawa, if I'm not mistaken), right??
This may be out of the blue, but seriously, Malaysia don't sell any hentai comics like Japan did, so it's really hard to get a grab of one of those...
I'm not Malaysians or Indonesians, and btw.. what's a Manohara??
PS - Love Malaysia a lot, though...really wanted to go there again sometimes.^^

The bestest way to resolve it probably is to send in the archeologists and scientists and such and research tomes and investigate abandoned cities and such.
Even then proof found won't be de facto end o all. Archeology is still a ongoing process. Plenty of evidence has been found that ancient people was as advanced as people are today. Things simply went oops and lost over time and sometimes simply forgotten XD

I am Indonesian who study at Malaysia.
Reading over this issue is something like funny for me, because I already got trouble from both countries' dispute.
Once the Indonesian Student Association at one of Malaysia's universities got hacked by Indonesian hacker, just because we are at Malaysia.
We also told as betrayers since we choose to study at Malaysia, not knowing how harder and more expensive it is to go to Indonesian's universities...
Not to justify ourself, but we also promote Indonesian's culture here at Malaysia to other International students. I like to talk with other foreigner the difference of Indonesian and Malaysian's culture. One thing I learn from looking from other countries' promotion videos, they are overlapping in cultures, but no one make a problem on that. Once you go to see the world, you will see the world is so small!
Even though Malaysian patent their cultures which some originated from us, let's take it as a challenge. Patent is only a limited advantage. If we are right, we should be confident to promote our culture, with or without patent!
One thing for sure there are many people from both sides who want to make the water becoming more dirty (i.e. the problem becomes more complex).
There are media from both sides who just say the part of story. Ex: when a Malaysian's institute sent food to Padang's, some food is expired, but what is not told that a Indonesian's institute is the one who buy the food. Malaysian's institute just provide the money. Funny, is it?
Other than media, there are individuals who also disguising themselves as opposite side. Ex: an Indonesian who destroy Indonesian's anthem and said he is Malaysian...

<------- Malaysian here..
I think there are some outside people trying to destroy the peace we
have long enjoyed.
They provoked some radical people and fuel them with several issues.
Making it worse media in both countries takes side, not to mention leaders who are busy collecting wealth and power and does little work 4 the people.
Come on guys, were brothers in race and religion.
Btw, i'm a Minangkabau people..

Indonesian here but as most of us have said it lets just blame it on the Government's corruption ,all they care is about their fat belly and pockets. I mean it's annoying that Malaysia have once again taken patent to Indonesia heritage but its not the Malaysians at fault here they are just trying to attract more tourist where as our Indonesian government are not even trying, We might have more to offer than Countries like Singapore or Vietnam and etc (sorry if i offended Singaporean or Vietnamese here) but at least they are doing their best to promote the tourism in their countries for example Singapore always decorate Orchard Rd every year for Christmas with different theme every year.
