No. The religious people would deny it with all their might. Just like evolution, and other sciences, and that condoms are good, and just about everything else which seems more like common sense -- kinda like jokerfight up there.

I know that i belive in something higher that is the reason for why we exists but i dont how the creation took place or if it just kickstarted the big bang but im content with just being here. Not quite true. During the time period when the Ottoman Empire existed and Catholicism was still going batshit insane, the Empire had relatively broad toleration for other religions as long as you paid your head tax(tax to not worship islam) and didn't start shit in the streets. The Janissary which are the elite unit in the Ottoman Empire's military with control over artillery are actually Christian boys who have been converted to Islam.

I honestly believe Islam to be a peaceful religion. I myself am Catholic, but I don't see any Belief system that would "advocate war and terrorism" can bring in such an outstanding number of followers. Humans are not that backward. Yet.

The problem with religions is that they are outlined by texts that are so ambiguous in their meaning, you can interpret it so many ways to suit violence. Organized Religion is not bad... Its the extremists that make it that way, yes its wrong that people judge you for the actions of others. But you also have to understand americans (trying to word this nicely) are lazy, they tend try and avoid thinking for themselves.. so now its easier for their minds to think everyone of middle estern decent is a terrorist.
