ak-47's definatly have their strength's but unless you can calculate wind, distance, and the trajector of the guns recoil your better off with a m16. Now I completely agree that America is OD on their army but hey look how many jobs it gives Americans. And I think it gives the citizens the best "Peace of Mind" when they go to sleep at night not having to think about some 400 odd terrorists dropping on their house and bombing the place. And not only is their army huge and powerful it also advances science. I'm not sure where the article was but I read that there will be a time maybe not this generation but possibly the next that we might be able to portable weapons that go Shoopin da whoopin all over the place. But in conclusion im pretty sure the Us army gets enough monay pumped into it to i dunno make some kinda of Personal Trooper robot or something and mass-produce them.

I saw Future Weapons and they did one on the automatic shotgun. That shit is dangerous because of it's long range and impact upon what ever it hits (trust me what ever it hits is GG). It's basically a AK-47 (long range) and shotgun(a spray of bullets in one shot). Imma go to sleep nao, but I'll post a video about it later on if you don't wanna Google it or someone else can if I don't get to it.

its that its not the weapon that kills but the user, what i mean is that u cold pick up a hamer and use it as a weapon instead of using it for hamering.
The sword is only as sharp as the mind of he who wields it, this is a question of skill like if a rokky and a veteran have to go 1 o 1 agenst eachoter who got most chance to live.
Here is a new that have ben proven by history: The pen is mightier than the sword, this whas proven att (think it whas in WW2 the trenchwar) new year eavenig, when some of the higher rankt officers on both sides whent to the middle of the battle-feald started to talk and ended upp having a soccker/fotball match with the ones they were fighting aguenst that that made the soldiers realice that they were not fighting with the one across the feeld but the one that had declared war aguenst them, when tha mach whas over the went back to there trenches and started to fight a again

I'd like to see what kind of weapon Japan will build after the 100 year weapon development ban in the year 2045. After all they created the concept of the ISBM-subs with I-Class Sub during WWII, and shown the world the power of the aircraft carriers.
Can anybody say Mobile Suits?

I was reading the new york times one day all about how, they are developing new air fighter jets and shedding there military restraints in order to better protect themselves from the new world power thats on the rise CHINA. If you think about it from a business and economic stand point, that they will be number one if things keep going the way that they are. So all I can say is that as much as we think were on top we can easily get surpassed in the military technology development industry.

i saw this and remembered that one story a couple years ago about how the u.s. was manufacturing a homo-perfume that would turn all the opposing soldiers gay and docile. that was pretty funny.
on topic, i read an article that said the u.s. was working on a new type of self-flying fighter jet and all i could think about was the terminator. some scary poo poo going on.

acturly they are trying to build a what i what to call a gay-bomb (a bomb that would explode on the battlefeald and make all the soldyers gay)
And by self-flying jet its just like a remote control plane, but a jet fighter with no crew/pilot

Shotgun + Gatling Gun + Explosive Bullet....
Equals a SHOTGUN that can shot automatic 300bpm with explosive effects on impact.
What human will not die or at least very badly injured with THAT thing?!
I mean, shotgun is dangerous enough at mid-range.

That is a bizarro shotgun, really! hope it comes to FPS soon. When that thing goes to the battlefield, there will be a big mess!

there is an automatic shotgun
i think it was called "Jackhammer"
there are only two of them around
it's a bullpup too
btw, shotguns don't always spray pellets
(Resident Evil)
what i really want to see is a small railgun that can be carried around by regular soldiers
railguns can shoot projectiles at higher velocities than just using explosives
i read that battleships are going to be equipped with them sometime in the future, as they are cheaper to use than regular cannons
if there was a portable one, ammunition would consist of the projectile and maybe some battery cells

Right now the US actually has a destroyer (if i remember right) that has railguns mounted on it.
As far as personal railguns go, they are a way off sadly. They simply take far to much power for any man-portable system to fire more than one or two shots. On the other hand, since the government/scientists are working on a form of "wireless power" this may be the step needed for railguns. All they would have to do is on a tank chassis or some other large vehicle, strip out its main weapons, and replace it with a very large power supply, and the ability to send the power wirelessly to a platoon of soldiers. This would actually be doable now if we can get railgun size down to rifle size, and just hardwire the rifles to the power supply.

People think the AA12 is some kind of new advanced weapon but it really isn't.
South Africa has been creating something like this too. It’s called the Protecta Shotgun.
LOOK IT UP YOURSELF
But there are SO many reasons why this bulky looking type of auto-shotgun won't be applied to the American forces is because:
-It's HEAVY!
-Look at the recoil it has
-There are better substitutions for an auto-shotgun such as the M1014

Fucking necrobump of the year!
To avoid a total useless post I'll discus.
I have to say the Nimitz class aircraft carrier now while it is quite old now I still feel as if it is worth mentioning due to the fact that it is an amazing class of ship. It shows that the U.S means to fuck you up when one shows up on your doorstep.
Also the Jdam is worth mentioning because it turns what would have been wasted money into usable material.
