Obama Vs. Mccain

What's your take on the political stands and who are you voting for?

I'm going for Obama, but i still don't like the fact that he's taxing the wealthy more just because were in a resection.
On the other hand with the minimum wage he wants to make it $2.15 more from like 5 something to 7 something.
Your turn!

It isn't Obama's idea the law (Fair Labor Standards Act) was passed over a year ago. The current minimum wage in America is roughly $6.55 as of july of 2008. Then on July 24 2009 minimum wage will be 7.25.

I'm not voting for McCain because I don't like his less than conservative ideas such as cap & trade and various other ideas that make him a 'weak' republican.
I also will not vote for Obama because of his tax policies, entitlement programs which all boarder on socialism. He intends to regulate the profits for drug companies, health insurers, and energy firms. He wants to establish a mortgage-interest tax credit. He wants to double the number of workers receiving the earned income tax credit, the EITC, and triple the EITC benefit for minimum-wage workers. The Obama is now up around $800 billion for spending. The tax hikes that he plans on the rich won’t happen. It’s the middle class that will ultimately shoulder this fiscal burden in terms of higher taxes and lower growth. I can could go on but, I've made my point.
I'm voting for Bob Barr the candidate for the Libertarian party. I believe the only real way to bring about change is to bring another party into the system. Every year Democrats and Republicans tell us they will lower taxes, cut spending, etc, etc, etc and yet every year nothing happens except more spending, bigger government and higher taxes. This is my idea of real change.
Edit: when people sell shit like this

you wonder why I dislike the guy. I'm not even religious and this pisses me off. I can only wonder how the hardcore Jesus fans are reacting.

I'm voting for neither also. Obama is an attention grabbing whore, and McCain just sucks too.
I'm voting for Nader. >_>

Third party candidates don't win, though.
I'm a bit concerned with vice presedential candidates, though, since someone is likely to try and assassinate Obama if he wins, and John McCain was friends with Jesus and could die tommarrow.
And I just don't like Sarah Palin on basic principle.

No, I also think both candidates suck. McCain's policies suck, and should we let a candidate in as president who's only got 1 term of experience in? Hell no.

I think every election, all the candidates suck. At least, I think that's what people say every election. I don't quite remember the Clinton elections, because I was more concerned with doing kid stuff since I couldn't vote, but in 2000, people said "Both candidates suck." In 2004, people said "Both candidates suck." In 2008, people are saying "Both candidates suck." Maybe the country's just been doing really shitty the past decade, but I think I see a trend. I wouldn't be surprised if in 1992, people said, "Both candidates suck." People love Clinton now, and rightfully so, but before he was elected, people probably thought he sucked, just like every other presidential candidate I've seen. Maybe Obama will get elected and do some good shit in the next four years, and people will love him to death. Who knows?

Both Republicans and Democrats are piles of shit and it seems like each election we just vote on which pile stinks less.

unfortunately it seems to be a pick for the lesser of two evils. personally I'm going to be voting for Obama.
0
Then which of the two are the lesser of two evils?
Obama in this case might be the lesser evil as we hope he can uphold his promises and execute his policies. (yeah right)

Guys, seriously. I know who you should vote for
Seriously though, politicians are salesmen. They are just selling you what you want to hear. Neither of these jack offs will do anything to improve the situation. Government had a hand in this problem so why are we going to rely on the people who put us in this situation to dig us out?
