After reading it, I felt that the otaku community has been degrading itself too much. Just stay single if you want, but don't marry a character that everyone loves. They egoistically say that the character involved has been in love with them too.

Well, it will be called Polyandry. But that case is just simple.
Try thinking the character married an over possessive, over protective and has a high temper guy. What task would he do, to secure his "wife"?
1. Try to erase all explicit pics all over the internet or flaming guys about it.
2. "Patent" his marriage with his "Wife", so no one can marry her again without permission
3. If he founds out another guy was married to his wife, Guess what he will do to him.

Well I doubt that will ever occur, unless at some kind of underground wedding. Most of 2D characters already got crushes, them otakus will have to draw up entirely new girls for them to meet and marry.

Still, it would not be a bad thing they somehow managed to ge this through. We may be laughing now, but who knows what the future has in store for us.
Unless something happens, I'd expect myself to live for an additional 100 years. At the current rate, I will hopefully be having a digital Utopia for my retirement. Not that I would need any current governments approval in there.
