Definitely never trying
Seriously if i tried yet failed i can at least say i did all that i could. If i just failed without giving a crap there's that remorse i have clinging not doing what i should have done.

Never trying
At least you can say to your'e self that i have a courage to do this well the bad thing is you fail at least u tried it and when there's a 2nd chance I'm sure you know your mistake and the result will be great as they say we learn from our past mistake well that's the how our brain function.

I'd rather try and try and try then ever give up. As to the true failure is giving up. I look at every failure as a stepping stone to victory. If we learn from our mistakes, we do better the next time. Risk is how we advance after all.

It depends on the scenario. Failing to ask out a girl you're attracted to? That's bad. Never trying something because you know there is a high chance of disaster occuring is different. It depends on the consequences of the action. Failing at something with a hit to your pride is ok, failing and being killed is bad.

If you regret, then you obviously never tried. If you are embarrassed, then you obviously failed at accomplishing the objective. Regret is one of the strongest negativity there is to emotions. It leaks into your brain, and creates this painful cycle that nobody goes through through your entire life. Embarrassment is only felt as a moment then recalled back as a stepping stone in the better you with courage to hold strong upon. Now I ask you: would you regret or would you be embarrassed?

Yes I did actually and in actuality I prefer failing because it's better to have tried and failed than not to have tried at all. Just like that saying "It is better to have love and lost than to never have loved at all". And it did appear before me in my life and you know what? I did something and I failed but I felt good about it because I knew I gave my all and my best =D

In my experience of never trying and seeing people that were failing, I'll say that not attempting will bring a satisfaction of NOT failing.

Depends on the situation, in some case failure is worse than not trying, or in other cases failure is somewhat more acceptable than not trying. IE I asked out this girl out I like the other day. She said no. At least I asked her and now I don't have to worry about asking her ever again.

I'd say never trying is worse because you'll never know till you try something. however, what your trying must be what a sane person would do on a normal day.

I would find that failing is worse than never trying because when your try and fail you put all the effort into something in the end it fails and nothing possitive was gained, but when you never try you are then neutral for not doing anything but not losing anything either.

failing for me, is worse off than never trying. personally i hate seeing wasted effort which could have been put to better use had you not bother to do that something. I'm not the kind of person that would say that its okay to fail as long as you did your best, stuff like that just don't fit my style. but that's just me eh?

I used say that not trying was worse, but really its only the lesser of two evils. for once you fail and you know everything youve done was pointless and its impossible, you wont are anymore. you will wish you had never tried.

i don't know it depends on the situation never trying meth is far better than failing at it (if you fail smoking meth you will most likely die) but generally you should try everything. How do you think I got here?

I think the worst is trying your hardest and then failing miserably. Nothing worse than knowing you tried your best and you failed without any hope.
