That's cool. I want to pick this game up, but I just don't have the scratch after getting DW:Gundam 3. Also curious to see what my friends would think of this game. A few of them love Portal and one of them in particular easily has over a dozen different puzzle games proudly displayed on his PCs desktop.

As Catherine's protagonist Vincent prepares to enter into a love triangle of his own when the game launches in North America next week, details of a PAL release have finally come forward, with Atlus and Deep Silver entering into a realationship of their own to bring Catherine to PAL territories.“We are very proud to be able to publish Catherine in all PAL territories as a Deep Silver game”, says Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Deep Silver. “Catherine is something new, fresh and exciting; unlike anything else in the gaming world – a unique mixture of genres. This agreement proves once again that games published under the Deep Silver label are not †˜more of the same’, †˜run of the mill’ productions.”
Featuring localised text in French, German, Italian and Spanish, Catherine will be coming to PAL territories, bringing its unique blend of relationship anxiety as Vincent must choose between commitment with Katherine or a fling with Catherine, while having fevered conundrum-filled nightmares plagued with sheep and towering block puzzles.
“Atlus is very pleased to collaborate with an experienced, passionate publisher like Deep Silver for the release of Catherine in Europe,” stated Shinichi Suzuki, President and CEO of Atlus. “Like us, they are dedicated to releasing interesting, unique entertainment content for their fans. They share our belief that Catherine’s unprecedented exploration of the psychology and horrors of commitment and relationships, its breathtaking visual design, and its frantic action-adventure/puzzle gameplay make for a thought-provoking, entertaining experience that cannot be missed.”
A date for Catherine's release in PAL regions has yet to be announced. Watch this space!

I edited my post to keep people from thinking I meant it was getting released soon or something. Thanks for the follow-up, Dejitaru Ryuu.
In other goodness, I managed to get a few of the special wallpapers you can get from playing the (fake) texting game from the Catherine website. Threw in a couple I found on DA and searching the net. CLICK "VIEW IMAGE" EACH ONE

Been playing for last few hours, damn ice blocks....damn ice blocks.[color=#006FFF]Surprisingly enough, I didn't have much trouble with that floor. The ice blocks only messed me up once or twice due to stupid mistakes/panic, lol. I'm also surprised at the fact that I beat the boss level of the floor in 4 tries, considering toward the end of it I was just going on pure instinct and adrenalin. Lol.
I'm only doing it on Normal mode though, so I don't know. I'm stopping for the night at Day 6, play time of ~8 hours. Loving the game, and I'm so looking forward to going with Catherine in the next play through.
So far, my first impressions of the game are nothing but general praise. I love how the cast all interacts with one another, and how everyone seems to hold some sort of importance to the story. And then gameplay is so addicting, and well done--not just the block puzzles, but the texting and mingling parts at the bar in between. Listening to the characters talk about the issue really helps give the game a great sense of reality and stress.
And just a little side comment; the fact that this game is fully voiced made me very happy.
Oh also, I ordered mine online from Gamestop, and they ended up sending me two copies. XD I sincerely hope they don't charge me for it. ^^;

Yea well I made a lot of mistakes and I am not that great at puzzle games, I am used to turn based rpgs so I am not accustomed to quick decisions yet, I am sure with time I'll get the hang of this. I am calling it a night for the game too I am done with the Ice. I am now on the second floor of the next one, umm the clock tower I think it was. Hell I am on easy, I know I am gonna be replaying this game so I am starting off easy and building my skills up. Love this game so far ^_^ Characters are great, and Orlando reminds me of a friend of mine, heck he even where the same type of hat! Gameplay is addicting but when I mess up a lot its frustrating, its crack I tell you. Love the text messaging system, and like you I love fully voiced.

Got the Love is Over edition yesterday. Playing on Easy mode so I get get the story mode done first before moving on to the harder difficulties.
Surprisingly, even Easy Mode was a bit more difficult for me that I thought it was going to be. I'm also enjoying the story-line. Following Catherine's story mode first before I go to Normal Mode for Katherine's story.

So does anyone else that got the Deluxe edition wear the Boxers, and only the boxers, while playing this game?

I got my pizza box today and of what I played I've liked it so far. Just when I started to get confident in my ascension abilities I hit a map where it kicks my ass. That's the challenge I guess.

The two elements of the game, the drama and the puzzles. The anime sequences drag on that you forget about the puzzles and then the puzzle levels got tiring that i forgot the point to the story. It's not a bad game... the story and art was great... the game is good just im not really impressed.
