Dead Space 3?

Dead space 3 is already in development. wow. I got curious to see if there was a such thing and to find this out. just makes me go wow. with teh ending during teh final moents escaping the sprawl. i was left when issac and whats her face left alive. wondering if there will be a sequeal.

with this now out of teh bag of dead space 3 in development. what features, baddies, or whatnots you want to see put into teh game?

[color=#006FFF]I think DS3 is one of the most confusing rumors/projects, because I never know whether to believe it's true or not. I've been told that it's in development and all before, but I haven't seen any sort of official announcement. :/

Well, regardless, it's already been mentioned that DS3 is (apparently) due to take place in an icy tundra sort of planet, so I'm really looking forward to that.

(Just makes me think of that movie, THING, as being inspired by necromorphs even more now, lol.)

Well, I've never played DS 1 or 2 before, but I do want to play them.

So I don't know what to expect.

well ds1 is what starts it all. so it is a must to play if you want to learn bout the story. ds2 is better then teh first in gameplay (i.e. issac talks and interacts more. lots of necromorphs) and ds2 has multiplayer.

what I want in ds3 is co-op online and offline, maybe with 2-3 players.

I know enough about both games.

Ive watched playthroughs of DS1, watching with head/ear phones makes it creepy, but it's not the same as playing the game itself.

Same with DS2.

I'll give them a shot eventually.

Just too many games on the waiting list.

another thing I would love to see in the so called frozen tundra of dead space 3. when I got ahold of teh seeker rifle. I looked and looked for open space to snipe from, but never found a place perfect for it. so I mainly used teh seeker for a 1 shot take down in medium ranges, sometimes short ranges.

So, this isn't actually confirmed yet? If it is I'm excited to see how the possibly icy environment could effect gameplay and I'd also like to see a fire weapon that doesn't suck.

It's actually the other way around. Dead Space was originally inspired by the combination of the movies Aliens (scale of destruction/action), The Thing (monster design and concept), and Event Horizon (setting and environment).

Besides, it's hard for a movie to be inspired by a game when said movie was in theaters 26 years before the game was released.

Dead Space 3... Time to get my scare on!

but really. dead space 1 was actually one of my favorite games of all time (for some reason).
i never got a chance to play dead space 2, but that only three saves/saves = your only checkpoint sounds brutal. (i kno that's only on the hardest diffculty)

Oh boy. Was that Hardcore difficulty a mother fucker. But doable. And that foam finger was a hilarious payoff.

So I actually hope to see that back in DS3. And the multiplayer, too. I had a lot of fun with the online, but playing it solo blew. That's not their fault though, just bitching. hurdur. Hopefully with the addition of more necromorphs and guns for multiplayer. Want to suicide bomb people as those babies while screaming obscenities.

Id personally like to see Isaac & Lexine meet so they can fuck everybodies day up. Its kinda annoying the fuck out of me how their stories keep having quite a bit to do with each other yet they only ever skim over each other.

Also, I wanna see more of Elle being badass(without her dying Id be so fucking hurt if that happened. Which probably means that it will happen now)

Beyond that, I wanna see a better multiplayer, & a possible DIFFERENT coop story playthrough. I say different cause Dead Space will lose nearly all scare value if you can go into it with a pal.

Maybe adding the FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUu- element of you needing to cooperate with AI's & keep them alive to progress too, cuz I was looking for that in Dead Space 2 & it never happened.

Now the new Dead Space 3 will takes place on an icy planet
called " Tau Volantis " though some people didn't like the idea
of an Icy planet, but for me i was like....

" Icy planet?...wait...THE THING MUCH??? i like the idea :D "

I could've sworn that someone else made a thread for this already. I remember bringing up the simularities to The Thing on said thread. Ah well, can't be bothered to go looking for it. Also, why call the game Dead Space if you're not even going to be in space anymore?
