Dead Space 3?

Oooooo ice, I love icy things. I hope it's as amazing a game as the 2nd one, that's one of my favorite horror games ever.

I still need to beat the second one, It does kind of sound like The Thing though.

Sounds badass, I love movies about being isolated, especially in the snow like The Thing so hopefully it will be pretty epic.

Whenever I hear of DS3 I cream myself so hard I get dizzy. Cant wait for more of Isaac & paranoia with surround sound adventures. Also, icy planet? Aw hell naw theyre going for the thing angle. The Thing+Dead Space=oh shit I wanna turn it off but I cant it hurts so good!!

Dead Space always took cues from The Thing. It just wasn't as noticable as it also borrowed themes from other movies in the previous games, like Event Horizon and Aliens. Elements taken from The Thing are just much more noticeable now that both the setting and monster design are pretty much identical.

Well if you think about it, his mind has been deteriorating throughout the games. Seems pretty natural he'll get some sort of personality disorder.

no I am not implying that you stole my thread. just didn't look hard enough to see if there was one. even if it wasn't listed in teh master thread. its always good to look up to 15 pages to see if there is already a thread of that topic you want to create. and why did you do that, just cut what I said down to just that that makes it seem like I am saying that when i am not.

sounds like it probly won't be a good dead space since Dead space series have been in space adn rarely on a planet for long. dead space 1 was what hooked me, dead space 2 impressed me when the developers took in teh advice of the dead space fans. hopefully they do the same wth the 3rd.

They changed Isaac's voice. Not going to lie, I'm kinda pissed.

this is in a later future. his voice might have had something happen to it to cause it.

Dunno, and don't forget issac lost his eye in chapter 14. just not the same way as ellie.

Okay, I honestly have mixed feelings for the game. I loved dead space 1 and 2, but 3 is gonna test that devotion. Something that everyone has yet to mention, and I will regretfully inform all those who do not know yet, is that DS3 will be co-op.

Now personally, I don't have a problem, maybe have a buddy drop into your game at any time, but there are some factors that will go against this very concept. First, it won't be as creepy as even the SECOND one, considering you have a companion, and your not alone. In a horror game, a co-op made should be something designed from the ground up, not something where you add a second character into the main story line, like in Halo or something. Survival horror is it's own beast, and should be treated as a different beast,

One thing that I greatly fear, is that it may be a double character game, a second character that when not played by a buddy, is controlled by a AI, and in short..... a second Sheva...

I pray to god it doesn't come to that...

Don't worry, there is no A.I will follow you around according to the developers.
And Co-op will be optional, whether you play alone or not :V
