Why am I terrified to solo queue in dota 2. I've yet to play a game alone

My friends and I have been playing a ton of SD lately, the games a lot more fun when your forced to pick heroes out of your comfort zone and you dont see the same 3 or 4 heroes in every single game.



I have a few times, its kinda luck of the draw. Sometimes youll get some terrible players who feed and than yell at you in spanish or russian the entire game, and sometimes youll get a really good team. I'de def recommend playing with friends as much as possible though, it really cuts down your chances of getting terribads on your team.

Why you do something so stupid dotabuff? Why?

Desho? Everything was going great with Dotabuff. But then they tried to implement DBR, not to mention they tried to sell Dotabuff Plus, when Dotabuff gained all their info through unauthorized means, or at least unapproved by Valve.

actually for me I'm more terrified to play with other people rather than solo queue,because I afraid that I cannot fulfill their expectation from me,also I can play as free as I can when soloing..,sometimes do a really bad hero pick,even tho I was the last picker.

somehow I'm still not used to orbwalking in dota 2...,can do it perfectly in dota 1,especially huskar

Meh, if people actually get mad it you because your still learning/getting better you probly shouldnt be playing with them in the first place. I do however have a friend who is rather aweful at the game, but thinks hes really good, so he always picks hard carries and tries to go mid with them, more often then not losing us the game. I usually just log off and say im going to eat dinner or something when he logs on at this point, i simply cant stand playing with him.

We play alot of SD, helps you get a feel for alot of different characters/combinations.

That's why I'm afraid to play with other people,cuz sometimes I feel like that too when playing with my friend Irl and made a lot of excuses to avoid play with them..,don't want to lose gaming friends on dota2
but when plays with random people,they can only talk back or talk bad about you,that's why I prefer to do reckless thing when play alone,like when trying a new hero,simple combo or items.

I usually always played using random,except when bored or get a sudden interest on one here.
recently my interest is in using Riki,played riki almost all the time,random if I late pick hero(usually too many carries in the game if late pick),and let the fate decide it.

played a game today and lost pretty bad. I wanted to solo mid natures prophet but pudge went mid and i ended up solo top against slardar drow. we lost pretty bad but it seems to me I should just pick drow or shadow fiend and just build shadow blade since nobody wards or carries dust. I guess being level 1 will do that

Well most of my friends are good, and that ones who arent atleast try to get better. Just that one is really annoying to play with. I'm not too worried about having bad games because I'm trying out new item combos/heros, gotta learn somehow, i usually talk shit on pugs whether im doing good or bad anyways.

Go jugling with the prophet,and showed up at line when your friend need you in the line for killing.



haha,I see,well I only feel comfortable when playing with my team,rather than play randomly with random friends,we know how we play each other.
also I think I like solo because of my HoN habit,will play many games at once and continuously without rest,then stop when tired.

Furion sucks for laning, sometimes I see him being used in tourneys for suicide lane but that's highly situational. He's still the most productive at the jungle.
A lot of people don't do this but, you should always summon Treants near the -1 min mark to scout out runes, stay in the fountain and summon some more when the game starts since the neutrals don't come out until the 30s mark. This helps for rushing your Midas.

This game was pretty close during early/mid game, I think their invoker was on steroids. I was baby sitting bloodseeker half of the game, I died a lot to keep that bastard alive. Dying all the time was frustrating, but then I got an agh's scepter.
Oh boy how fun it was.

Playing as WD is fun. You support the team while getting tons of kills; his team fight presence is amazing. Our whole team was lolling by the time the game ended. #WD4lyfe.

Yup I agree with you,WD is a very good hero,with unique skills.
Annoying stun,meledict for easy kill,high rate of heal,and his ulti is very hurt. One of my experience when played him(was a very late game),got aganhim fast,after that I bought BKB and Ghost staff,so no one can touch me for 5+ sec.
His ulti with Scepter is hurts so much,and hit all of the enemies around him.
