Puck is actually one of my favorite heroes in Dota 2. I think im 4 and 1 with her. Her little phase shift ability is sooo fun, i love dodging shit with it.

I find Enchantress is fun (and easier than Chen).

Dota 2 just seems like every hero in it is so OP that it all becomes balanced, but Riki, THAT SON OF A BITCH, guess I'm just 2noob to know how to counter him.

DUST, SENTRY WARDS, GEM OF TRUE SIGHT. Anything that reveals invisible heroes are the most viable counters. Without their invisibility, they're mostly like creeps controlled by a player, squishy as fuck.

I wouldn't say dust for riki, since he gets diffusial anyway. Gem, sentries and not being alone.

Alternatively, pick Bounty Hunter.

Speaking of which, any good builds for BH? I usually get Jinada and Shadow Walk maxed out first before Shuriken, am I doing it right? And items, I'm not too sure what to get, but I heard Diffusal's good on him.

My build on BH is different with most builds I see, I have my own personal preference. Diffusal is can be grabbed due to it being able to remove dust. However I feel the most efficient build from personal testing is drum into medallion into desolator. Idk why Battle Fury is listed as core, unless you were against broodmother. Armor reduction is what bounty should be doing to set up kills. He's not a carry himself rather he helps carries get kills. So the armor reduction scales really well on him I believe. Mana regen is also nice from medallion. I don't max Jinada, you don't have much damage at the start anyway to make any damage worth of crit. I max shuriken. I'm not sure why people don't do this. I mean I guess having reduced cd is nice. Maybe it's because it's mana heavy. In which case medallion helps along with arcane boots if no one else has them(I normally get phase). then again it's the same people that build a BF on BH. Having a 325 damage nuke when ganking an enemy in laning phase with 800 hp is p good.

I'm newer than mostly everyone at dota, so you may not take my word for it but I 'm still a tinker.

I prefer Lv 2 Shuriken, Max Jinada, Lv1 Invis at early. And don't try to gank alone, tell your current line partner to help before the ganking starts.

For item builds, I prefer Phase Boots and Bottle. Go roam & collect runes when reaching lv 7.

Medalion is good but remember, Medalion's skill reduces BOTH user and his target's armor, could be suicidal if you're careless (though Medalion already increases your armor but still, just be careful).

Desolator is a very good choice since WW+Jinada can deal sadist damage at early/mid games.

I also don't know why Battlefury is listed as core, IMO Battlefury is item for farm, not too efficient for killing heroes.

About Diffusal Blade on BH, I don't think it's good for him. With Track + Jinada's slow, he can easily chase his enemies.

Yeah I always wondered why Battle Fury was on that list, just doesn't suit him. I realize I'm usually always low on mana, so I'll try Medallion. Thanks for the input.

The standard BH item build is tango,+ pot, stout (because you are an offlane solo), and 3 branches to start. You can swap a branch for a clarity if you want. Basi into phase is usually the way to go, but can be swapped in order based on the situation. Then you go into drum for more move speed and stats. From there you go Deso or bkb, depending if the enemy has a lot of magic and stuns/disables. If you get deso first it is usually good to go bb after just to be safe. For late game, its safe to go vlads if nobody else has yet. I like to go mkb and that is probably the best if the enemy carry has a bfly.

I do not think medallion is the best choice since when you initiate from invis you do jinata strike with shadow walk's extra damage first. So you cannot get that combo off if you initiate with medallion, which is how it should be used most times. You should not really get medallion for mana regeneration early game because it does a percent of your base regen. So through math and the dota 2 wiki, if you have 33 intelligence then a sage's mask (where medallion gets its regen) regens more than a ring of basilius. So this only becomes more efficient for bounty hunter once he hits level 11, which is when his int reaches 33. Like i said, if you need mana the basilius covers you there and the drum gives a nice increase to your mana pool.

Dude. I play dota efficiently. You obviously do not understand anything about dota if you think you can "find" the best builds by "experimenting". This is why there are terrible dota players. You have to study up if you want to do well. And I don't really find it fun to "test" item builds that will not work and/or be inferior. It ruins the game in my opinion, for you and other players. And by standard I mean usual build pros use. Well, this was from before his nerf so it might be a bit different now. And BH doesn't need that much regen.
