DotA Player's Thread (We love this game)

depends... if the game drags on then I do but if it ends quickly then I don't bother anymore...

I say go for it. Mercy doesn't exist it my dictionary unless i'm facing people who are learning DotA.

My best heroes are POTM Razor troll Clinkz omniknight windrunner weaver DK... that's all..

lol i know how that feels, i played game that ended pretty quickly, i only gor my agha and then all of the enemy quitted because their base was already pushed hard

^majority of my heroes are invi, cause i work best at setting up and taking out the more dangerous of the heroes in the clash, riki and doom would be my best team player since they both can silence.

Give doom a lothars and majority shouldn't be in your post :)

ohh.. techies.. the best hero to use if you want lols... seriously.. I plant around 5 - 6 mines on the goblin outpost( shops at the top or bot lane) then later I hear a double kill and see my name on the screen... always get's me laughing whenever I do that... and it's not just limited to the shop.. possibilities are endless :D

I find Battlefury highly redundant and a waste of close to 5K gold.Building perseverance is more than enough as you can upgrade into linken later.

Vlad is not that great for brood as the enemy will know where you are from the aura you are giving out and competent players will ward all over the place.You already have 70% lifesteal which is more than enough.

pt is not that worth it anymore.Go for phase boots instead.Will help alot since brood is a rather large hero and creeps may block you from your kill.

On the contary,you should think of shutting down the enemy carry fast and hard as opposed to farming the whole game.

vlad is not as bad as you think dude, ,+damage aura,+mana regen,+life steal = more power to push for brood in early game



i remember over hearing people about to gank my lane mate at bottom lane (cause playing in a computer shop), no time to plant too many mines so what i told him was to try and keep them together. 3 of them came together and i went and suicide, triple kill!!!, and then a bara tried to charge my lane mate, then stpped on 6 of my mines and died XD. ah good times

Speaking of techies, can he be upgraded by Agha? too lazy to go search.

If it does, what Strengthens it?

I never liked techies. I would prefer silkwood as my suicide hero rather than him :3

Aga Improves Damage and Cast Range (300/450/600->450/600/750 damage and 500->900 range cast range)

not that worth it really... damage dosen't matter when you put about 15 - 20 bombs in one place and detonate on an unsuspecting team... instant massacre

still cant hurt to have some extra damage, incase the game lasts that long. My favorite item for techies is bloodstone :P

BTW, IS IT EVEN WORTH THE EFFORT OF GIVING SANDKING AN AGHA?! I mean c'mon, it only gives 1 lousy pulse!

not at all.. the money you use to get aga can be used to get something even better say heart or refresher...
