There's a DLC called Return to Ostagar which is like an extra side quest which grants you a new armor and more information about Duncan. It's like Warden's Keep and the Stone Golem. They're short. But Awakening is an "expansion". It's a lot bigger and continues the story after the Blight is over. I believe it opens a new area, Amaranthine, which belonged to that asshole Howe. Also includes new spells and abilities, 5 more party members, and a higher level cap.

You can continue with your DAO character but you can also start as fresh one from Orlais. Heh, the addon starts after the original game but you probably gonna use save in your camp after defeating the Blight and we know that THIS save is not exactly after the end, but BEFORE it (Morrigan is still in camp :-)).I dont want to adhere to anything but how can we play after game with save before finishing :-)??

Damn cool stuff in the game, like much better version of WoW... Hell even better, not comparable. I wonder how the Mount & Blade online will turn out to be... Or Blade & Soul for that fact.

Anyone beat Awakening? Didn't really like it though. It was alright but felt really constricted with very few areas to explore. Also, the story wasn't as gripping as DA:O and the characters ain't as cool or funny. I miss Morrigan and Leliana...especially my modded one.

I might get this game. Im getting bored of Demon Souls

Unfortunately, no. The original DA:O is required for Awakening to work, as Awakening is in the original DA:O game itself. You play from the "other campaign" option in the title screen.

I finished it 3 days ago with my mage and all I can tell that the original was sooo much better...

I swear my friend has stolen my copy. I let him borrow it nearly two months ago, and I have only seen him once since then and he's not even playing it. Bastard. <.<

I'm still playing this and i'm enjoying it. I'm at Denerim and my character is a rogue. Gotta download the expansion before I finish this.

Haha, forgot about my last reply. I finally did get the game back. Don't have Awakening, but I have everything else finished except for Traveler. Just about everyone of my friends got that achievement with ease, but on the two playthroughs in which I was actually trying to get it I've failed. I even have the list from the Wiki that specifically says all the fields and yet I still manage to screw up somewhere. >.<

After finishing DAO and awakening, I really can't wait for DA2 even if it will be released at 2011.

Hope that I could still use my current profile in DA2 and continue for the search for Morrigan
