To summarize: 3 routes. 5 non-bad endings. 40 bad or dead ending.
The game is structured in a way, that you have to do the routes in order because others are not unlocked yet. The 2nd and 3rd routes have the alternate endings. The game also gives you great tips on "what you did wrong" if you do die, so as long as you keep a save at each decision point it's all good.

Well..I dunno lol...im thinking they gave ilya a children "pat pat" role for shiro...making them kind of like brother and sister.
meh...i havent seen fate/zero yet. Type moon also made Tsukihime, which is my fav VN untill now.
Being a Type moon fan, I would see anything Kinoko Nasu wrote and add 50 marks to it because I just like how he tells stories, he is one god writer

Nasu Kinoko wrote the story for Kara no Kyoukai, Tsukihime, Kagetsu Tohya, Fate/stay night and Fate/hollow ataraxia - so if you like any one of them for their story and writing then the others are a sure fire. Besides, they take place in the same universe, so you'll see familiar terms.
They also have the same character designer / artist - Takeuchi Takashi.

And I tried Tsukihime before, and somehow I just don't get the "feel" of it...so I kicked it out.

What? oh man, oh god, oh man, oh god, I would say Tsukihime really gets the story climax up on the mid-late game of the VN...
But i guess its up to personal preference...
Im going to read fate/zero soon too, on my soon-to-read-list

Well, it's so-so actually, but to me giving that death eye thingy is an overkill....and i hate that bitch akiha too.
so-so story(ok) + overkill shujinkou(....) + bitch(negative) = negative. and so i pray...unlimited kick works.

I agree that Tsukihime's front moon route was kind of boring, but the back moon route which involves the story of Tohno Family to be very [color=red]fucking epic[/color].

I found my 2nd route (Ciel) to be the least interesting, and that was kind of the low point for me, but it really picked up the pace from there and the further in you go the more it wants to blow your mind :P
