Lol. Those things are easy to beat. I just usually use Lightning, Hope or Vanille with Snow up against those things. The important thing is elemental attacks to stagger it. Once it's staggered it's easy to beat. Also make sure to deal with any other enemies first and then have everyone concentrate on the lizard. Make sure to use a Libera on it if you haven't used any before. You don't have to keep using Libera on each of the creatures every time as long as they're the same species. If they're the same species, but a different element then you have to use Libera again.
If you think that's tough you're gonna shit yourself when you get to the boss for chapter 9.

bought today I have a lot of fun playing this game. so far nothing negative to say about it. currently in Chapter 3

I am right where you're and I felt the same way. It was epic. Also, now there are side missions. I am gonna do a lot of these if not all of them before progressing with the main story. I want to make FF13 last as long as I can make it.

Halfway through chapter 12 and it's getting fucking insane with the whole all out war mayhem. I'm loving this game a whole lot, weapon upgrading is gonna be hell, so I'm gonna have to farm for components.
My status so far:
1. 31 Missions beat
2. 90% finished with everyone's Crystarium
3. Halfway through chapter 12

I still haven't figured out what's will all the negative credits I've been hearing. I'm 10 hours in the game (currently grinding some Crystal points to fight against 2nd summon)
I have to say I enjoy this unique kind of leveling system. More games should do this :D

Picked the game up on thursday, but just got to play it yesterday, good thing i get three days off from school and work this week :) . Only an hour in the game so far and still waiting for things to get interesting and better, which I know will be soon. Right now its just some repetitive battles with different characters T_T

Loving this game just started chapter 9, about 18 hours into the game and CP grind at the end of chapter 7 for a good hour

The cinematic after you get the Instrument of Faith trophy, I think it's the start of the 13th chapter, was so cool.
I really hope there's an option to watch the cinematics after you beat the game.
