Final Fantasy 13

Not even done with Chap 1 yet.... TT^TT

I am mid-way through Chapter 13. I spent way too much time playing around in the open field. My time in FF13 is 71 hours according to the timer.

Lol, me and my friend are kinda stuck at Odin.
He gets raped everytime he attempts it, and my first try, I managed the get his ATB guage up to about 85% before Doom killed me.
After that, my friend stopped letting me try, and now he's getting raped again.

Odin is pretty tough, but not as tough as you put it to be. Just have Hope do Protect and Shell, then go War & Peace and maintain the fight. Once he use his shield, go Dualcasting, and back to War & Peace if he goes offensive again.

Should get him dead before 600counter.

I got oding with only 10 left on the counter.
I learned that my neighbours don't like to hear me scream "fuck yeah!" around 10 PM thanks to that XD

I've hit chapter 9 in more or less than 20 hours and i'm fucking enjoying this game.
I really didn't expect that but Sahz Katzroy is my fav character...

He must be one of the deepest character out there.

Or in my case let him rape hope and spam lighting on him

I just had lightning go medic and spam cure while hope shot at him with spells.

Got it with about 500 to spare.

Ok I've been in chapter 12 for awhile and

Hilarious review that seems to strike some points hard, maybe unreasonably. It doesn't really go into detail so I can't get much out of it, but it's a hella fun.

ps: The black guys thing is hilarious.

Also, to be honest, i've been watching a lot of reviews to try and get the real picture of what the game really is like. And the data is as follows:
The major game reviewers praise the regular stuff and diss the linearity; Namasensei talked a bunch of shit about it as you've all seen; Some fanboys like this poor motherfucker here keep making useless retarded reviews.

And some other reviewers praise and others hate on the difficulty of the battles.

Overall, so far the visuals look damn good, but the battle system is still a mystery box. I guess I will have to play it to have an honest personal opinion about. I have no idea when that'll be though.

I am loving how the difficulty continues to go up throughout, so that if you make the mistake of dodging all the encounters you pay for it later.

I am tired of seeing reviews for this game. That Namawhatsit guy grossly over exaggerated FF13's short comings as did a lot of other jaded FF fans. The sad thing is that we're going to have to go through it all over again with Versus as it will have the same format. None of the reviews for FF13 deterred my interest in it and I hope for those that the reviews did that they see how a review like Nama's shouldn't sway their opinion until you play it.

Well, I mainly feel this way about the game because of the huge disappointments that were FFX-2 and FFXII. Also hearing about the changes the game has made makes me feel uneasy about trying it. But you may be right, the shortcommings may be insignificant compared to the good fun that the game provides. I think i'll stop ranting and quiet down till I get to try the game myself.

Just one last thing though, that has been confirmed? :O

Indeed. The Fabula Crystallis Trilogy (FF13, Versus and Agito) will feature story driven gameplay over open world exploration, as explained by director Motomu Toriyama. Which if they're anywhere near as good as 13; I am just fine with.

That's not to say the combat will be the same. Versus will have a different combat system from 13.

After playing for a while, I have a minor issue...

Vanille's voice actor just sounds annoying to me >__<

But she so damn hot

I like Vanille's voice. To each their own.

Next time make sure to be on my team if we're playing MW2.
