C'mon, thats the best fucking line i've ever seen to end a game, which made the ending like 1000x better. & It makes Kratos the biggest badass dude ever. Oh yeah and the finishing moves off bosses / Monster's are still fucking kick ass.

I don't like this one as much as the classic FF games, but more then FF12 that's for sure. Van's character kinda killed it for me, but that doesn't mean I won't get the collecters edition. I want what Japan got.

OMG!!!!shut the fuck up you idiots,both consoles rule,come on xbox360 got great online.PS3 got great picture/graphics its just a game.Xbox360 got FF13 so what i don't care it's a game for all people to play and do you think that the producers care about which console its on there after the money/fame so shut up lets enjoy the games together not argue about this shit like kids over a toy.

well, im playing FFXIII currently in jap and im loving it =P
i dont mind linear maps, in fact, i love them, i usually have this habit of exploring the map 100%, and with open maps, i can take a long time doing it and i find it EXTREMELY tedious and it has stopped me from completing alot of other RPGs =/ lol yes, my habits contradict itself.
I am currently loving the combat system too =p its more complex and its actually more fun and challenging than just spamming "attack attack attack attack" and winning every fight. Its way more strategic now ;p games where you dont have to think or do anything arent really what i'd call games =p

Yo guys, Namasensei is reviewing FFXIII (only the first part has been uploaded so far) and I reccommend you watch this. Because although it is a bit spoilerific (he doesn't spoil the big stuff), it'll give you a better idea if you really want to spend the money on this game.
PS: He spoils quite a few cutscenes (although not the dialogue, as he is talking over it), so if you want to keep it all a surprise, don't watch it.

I still don't know whether to buy a PS3 over this.
I could just get the Xbox version, but I've heard the graphics are way better on PS3, and that the Xbox version doesn't even include half the content, and still takes 5 discs.

You're obviously not buying a console just for this one game. So why not just choose the console that has the games you want to play the most, eh?

You're obviously not buying a console just for this one game. So why not just choose the console that has the games you want to play the most, eh?
Well, it's either a PS3 (and some other goodies), a new laptop, or a new drum kit.
There are quite a few games I wanna play on PS3, I just... don't remember them right now. <.<;;

the only diffirence so far is that Xbox graphics are poorer (more compressed)
PS3 version you can switch between english and Japanese VA, Xbox you only have English VA
and on Bleu Ray you can easily store up to 150GB
a DVD can store up to 17 GB (biggest available on the market - Doubble layer on both sides of the disk)thought he more commonly used ones are 8,5 GB (doubble layer one-sided)
so that explains the multiple DVD's.
