If anyone wants to play survival add me on steam: endokun_jp or xblive: ZombieLoliconI must say, thats an awesome gamertag. I might just add you (you'd be great for me and a few friends clan, known as "Loli". We're short on L4D players.)

So I'm playing Dead Air's second level, right at the start and its just me and another guy for a little 1 on 1 (4 on 1, stupid bots) lolz match. I spawn smoker and wait for the last bot to jump off the dumpster and fence. I'm successful but my opponent ignores the Louis bot's call for help and so do the other bots. I believe it should have been possible to shoot me off through the fence or from the fire escape. With the help of a few common infected I incap him quickly. As I chew through his remaining health I think of how and where to get the other bots and my opponent. And then Zoey bot teleports right to my victim. She knocks me off my prey and blasts away half my health. I run around one of the pillars hoping to turn lemons into Zoey flavored lemonade and pull her out of sight of downed Louis, but then Bill bot shows up, by the same mystical means employed by Zoey, and dashes all hope of that happening.
Fuck bots, fuck them hard.

I'm at 14 bronzes, 8 silvers, and 4 golds and at 49/58 achievements. I'm getting happier by the moment. On what levels you got the gold?
Here's my times and levels:
The Drains: 14:26 at the corner next to the medpacks
The Street: 11:26 at the alleyway with the truck over the barricade
The Hospital: 11:07 at the double doored room at the end of the hallway near the ammo
The Warehouse: 10:11 beyond the alarm door upstairs
It says that I also got a fifth gold, but that was on a modded game, so I can't really count that. I think the count is at 15/8/4.

The custom map tool has been released. The "Left 4 Dead Authoring Tools Beat" in the tool tab on the Steam window. Let the awesomeness commence.

Lololol!! That's friggin awesome, even though I wouldn't use it because it'd distract my attention from killing zombies.

Here are some videos from E3 for Left 4 Dead 2 beta version:
Part 1:
Part 2:
Part 3:
My impression? The Charger and wandering witch is really something, and the gameplay is somewhat different from before in that you can't camp in one place to fight off the horde in a panic event, aka the gauntlet. In other words, you're gonna have to run or else the the zombies will keep coming until they bury you. Also, the music's got a Southern twang to it - awesome, and the special infected have new soundpacks. The melee weapon is apparently a pickup like a gas/propane/oxygen tank and you drop it as soon as you switch to another item. Also the pistols have changed - you start off with something I think is a Heckler & Koch (or beretta, but berettas are much skinnier) and the second pistol is a Glock. The tier two weapons are also different from L4D's tier two weapons.
Some cons I thought while watching these videos were the fact that you have these incendiary bullets which to me seems out of place considering the fact that such bullets are never for sale through known venues like gunshops. Also, the zombies remind me of Team Fortress 2 as well as the building color - they oughta work on that.
Back to L4D, I was able to play with a laser sight mod - fukken awesome, but apparently it's only available if you play on doku's survival games... and he doesn't freely give his mods out... shame.

Yeah it definitely looks alot better than the first one. I kind of liked the melee weapons more so the axe 8) and the double pistols now being 2 different pistols was also kind of cool. The zombies and environments look more cleaner and better. Though I kind of wished that the zombies may have been more harder to kill because it seems like it didn't change. It was hard to tell but I wasn't really seeing any zombies still running at them with there arms or legs blown off or them getting back up after getting shot down. The new special infected "Charger" also looked pretty cool but what did he mean that after he charges he grabs someone? Does he just him them down or what? I also thought that the incendiary rounds were out of place they shouldn't have added that in or if they were make it like a rare find. Because when I think about a versus match and when your a tank and you get on fire it makes things alot harder for you so you get shot and your on fire is kind of lame. I kind of hoped that with all the changes they would of also changed how the special infected looked as well same with the witch but it looks like that won't happen. Also the silenced uzi's didn't seem necessary to me since it seems to have no effect to the gameplay, I was kind of thinking that with silencers added to them that hordes would be less likely to attack, meh oh well. All in all it was still pretty good I just hope that they can do alot more with what they have now meaning L4D II rather than just give up on it like the 1st L4D.

Aw, that does look better. Helped curb a few of my doubts. Although I doubt any of them will prevent me from getting the game either way I look at it.

Thanks for posting the video G-money. There's more variety when it comes to your arsenal. So the tank is the charger or is charger completely different?
So now when you shoot for cut a specific body part of the zombie that limp will fall off, that's awesome! Imagine cutting the head of a zombie and your team mate get's hit by it, oh the lols will be coming in.
The alarm sounds intense, it's different from the bell alarm from the first one. Also there will be a story that connects the campaigns together, which the first one lacked.
