Marvel vs Capcom 3

Whoo, too many to name. You have to cut down that to your top six at most, Iron Man is pretty good all around for one. Dorm is keepaway and I think he can help X-23 in assists. Seeing how close range X-23 is and I think Vergil is too (correct me if I'm wrong about Vergil), either Iron Man or Dormammu can help a lot in the zoning department. Both also have good hypers to DHC in and out from.

I know how to play them, but I'm confident with only a few of them. Dorm did catch my fancy, so I may just focus on him more.

I just picked up this game and I am really liking Virgil. I will team him up with Hawkeye for the left-right mixups with the arrows and teleports. I am not sure about my anchor yet. It might just be Doom who can help with zoning if Virgil gets taken out.

My other team will always be Viper, Morrigan, Trish. I have used them forever even though they were not that good as a team in Vanilla. They should be better and it will be fun.

Team - most likely Task/LeiLei/Spencer

This game is a lot harder than Vanilla. I find that I have to earn my wins. Wesker Samurai Edge is harder to use to extend combos, especially in the corner. The netplay is strange, I feel awkward with it, but I will get used to it, I hope.

i hate the devil may cry characters their swords are too long!! >:(

No one seems to have the game for Playstation 3.

Not yet, I'm waiting for the price to go down more, and I just in case Capcom makes another "plan" again.

I bought MvC3, the only problem is there are no store that will accept to buy my retail copy anymore since this country is infested with Pirated Ps3. I even had to buy my copy from another City. So, I'm stuck with it, the only way to sell it is to go to C2C forums similar to craiglist.

Which one, regular or ultimate?

Vergil and Strange looks so damn good.

Why does it matter if they make another Marvel game? No one complained about Super or Arcade Edition. No one complains about Modern Warfare 3. No one complains about all the different Disgaeas. If the game is fun, who cares. The game is fun for me. I like the game. I will support the company that makes the games I like. It just more Marvel vs Capcom to love.



The only game people will be playing is Ultimate really. Asking this question is like asking people if they play SFIV or SSFIVAE.


On a different subject, I am going to use Hawkeye. He is a really good character. His damage is a little low, but he can do so much. Doom Missile assist is really good to help with zoning, but I am finding a lot of bad Dr. Doom players who are abusing his j.S expecting him to be Wolverine. I also love Spencer now. His mobility is much increased and the next bomber move is really good.

I'm not talking about "fuck you Capcom and their way of making and selling their games". I'm more about the state of my "wallet".
I just don't want to spend money, and then found out capcom sells a cheaper version in a possible future

Not that easy, there's basically no part time jobs, and without a degree the jobs that you can get will only wage you under $50 a month.

Speaking of support to the company, I still use a "Clean" Ps3 in this pirate infested country.
I bought and played all Disgaeas because they have different stories. (haven't bought the 4th, as usual money problems)
I don't care much about MW3 since it's just another FPS game.

So, it does "matter" for me if they make another game which is only an upgrade. Currently my position is like the people that bought the Xbox tales of Vesperia, but then Namco released a "perfect" edition for the PS3. The main problem is I don't have anymore disposable income to solve this.

PS3 games are fucking expensive in this country, because of the currency.

Bought UMvC3. Enjoying it so far. Gameplay is still solid, and the new characters are interesting even though I haven't tried them personally just yet. My only concern is the HUD.

The HUD looks HORRIBLE. First off, the Assists are switched around. The first hour I was playing this, I kept on calling in the wrong assist character because I look at the HUD and see that the character under the Point character is A2, not A1, even though I meant to call the A1 character. Mind you, that I play B-Control set-up, I still get the assists mixed up. This is also a big problem for those who play the MvC2-type layout, since the Assists are backwards.

The health bars that are also not on point is difficult to see how much life they have left. The Huge X for the X-Factor is distracting, and the meter gain from 3 to 4 is hard to decipher where you meter is actually at.

This is a concern of mine since, you should never try to adjust your playing style for a bad HUD. They need to bring the Vanilla HUD back.

But, other that that, I am finding that my Task/LeiLei/Spencer team is doing well so far online. 25 and 6 on ranked with this team. My Wesker/Task/Jean Grey team is also still really good. But, my favorite team and my favorite character in Vanilla feels like crap. Zero is fine and even though Sentinel feels like I just need to get used to it, my favorite character in Vanilla, Tron, is pure and utter crap. She has the hardest time getting in, her j.H nerf is messing up my combos, her combo damage output is horrible, especially with drill, and no capturing the opponent with Servbot into King Kobun within a single combo sucks. She feels like the worst character in the game, in I don't doubt it if she was.

Enough ranting, I'll be on later on tomorrow if anyone else wants to play me on Ultimate.

The team I play for fun is Chun Li, Morrigan, and Trish. I have to say that this team is much improved since Vanilla. Chun has much more combo potential with almost everything being jump cancellable. He damage output seems to be the same, but I can pull off higher damage combos easier than before. 450k without meter on a simple combo.

Morrigan is another improved character. Her damage is supposed to be higher, but I am not good at doing her higher damage combos. I do not have the execution for that. Her improved flight is definitely noticeable. Especially when you do the fireball, fly, fireball, unfly stuff. I really love her. The DLC outfit is also one of my favorites.

Trish is still the same Trish. There was a slight nerf in that you can only set one of each trap in a single jump. It does not hurt me at all because I did not set the sames ones twice in Vanilla anyway. The huge buff was in the OTG hyper. It is great and sets up for good DHC options.

My more serious team at the moment is Nemesis, Virgil and Hawkeye. It looks like this team has really good DHC options that I just found today. It is such a strong team.

You do not have to buy the costumes if you do not want them. I am not going to buy them. They have done this for every recent fighting game at any rate whether it is Street Fighter or Marvel. It looks like they will also do this for Street Fighter x Tekken.

Final Fantasy Dissidia 012 had costumes to download for a price, each one for $0.99USD, and there were multiple costumes for the 13 seperate FF series for a ton of money. You could also by the music as well from each series.
Little Big Planet also did pay for costume thing if I remember correctly.
Call of Duty has all those map packs you need to buy.
Batman: Arkham City also had costume.
Mortal Kombat...


I can go on and on, but this is not just limited to Capcom.
