I hate people like that guy. Just because you got this and that doesn't make you awesome. Prove to me you're awesome by fighting the monster and getting the quest done, not embarrass yourself by getting KO'd.

Those guys are pretty awesome, man. I met this guy when I was in the HR 20's and we were doing a Rathian. Just because he was the highest Hr dude in there (I think he was in the 50's) he wanted everyone to stand back because he got this. LOLOLOLOL he died miserably.

Also, I asked a guy earlier saying "Can I still be in here even if I'm not a skilled player?" His first reply "What's your HR?"

You serious? Your HR determines if you're a skilled player or not?

Bah, people think having high HR means youre skilled because you've been through enough monster to get that many points.

Also, I like how its us four that keeps this thread alive. Yet we never once hunted together. Find a time people!

I've hunted with Kads for 2 quests. He messaged me from out of nowhere.

Been reading this thread for awhile now and even though I don't know all the Monster Hunter terminology I really enjoy playing it. Sad that we had it in the house this whole time and never though about playing it until reading this thread.

We should hunt together sometime.

Anyone realized that (I believe this fact at least) that they originally had thought to have a city to carry more than four hunters at a time? But limited this to reduce router clashes.

I always did wonder why each city was limited to just 4 people.

Each City Gate holds 100 people, but up to 40 cities could be made.....

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, but I was wondering if I should focus more on getting armor with more Resistance or a higher armor rating. I ended up getting the Jaggi Armor set since it was better than what I had, but after looking closely my defense rating towards the elements is way down especially fire. To me I might as well be wearing polyester lol. And finally I was wondering about the decorations for armor and if I can even out the negatives to this armor by attaching some that fix the polyester problem.

If you don't get hit by any of those elemental attacks like the Peco's flint fire, Rathian's fire ball, etc.. then you're fine...defense wise. Hell I used my Jaggi armor all the way up until the I reached Rathian in the lvl 4 quests in the village. And I believe that the Jaggi armor doesn't have any negative skills on it. It does have negative cold resistance but it's not -10 so the skill isn't activated so don't worry about that.

First Jho fight, I was a little nervous, since earlier attempts to finish the Speak Of The Deviljho quest always ended badly.

The next 3 quests, things went by smoother than the first, Jho still hit hard, but thank goodness for the Anga+ set.

Now to farm for 2 gems to forge the set.

Also, what is a Ura ruby used to forge with besides the armor?
