So far so good. Got a Deep Dragon gem, 2 Skypiercers, and a Azuregem today. Also got a Ala Web, but that doesn't count as I have tons of those and they are useless. 1 try on Ceadeus and 2 Ala to get them.

Yes, break both of the horns and maybe, just maybe you'll get it. Low chance of getting it though, but doing the event Alatreon should be much easier to obtain.

Oh, wait, I was offline, farming Lagis for the horns to make the low-ranked armor, then later to over forge it.
As for the occasional advanced Lagi, I've only fought it once and we killed it. Got like 1-2 +horns.

Same as Satsugai... dunno how many have been capped.. some killed, but keep getting no horns+. Yes, I break the horns each time and I just need one more to complete my lagi gun armor but no! Getting nothing!

I pretty much do that, but feeling sorry for them getting smacked all over the place I designate myself to put up traps and use flash bombs.
