I'm surprised as well, when I heard from my friend, I even have not enjoyed playing P3 FES yet.
Glad it have the same character design and music director. Even Igor and the velvet room is back. Like the new opening song and the long black haired girl with the red uniform is kinda hot and cute. What's with the glasses, some kind of new evoker?

Persona 4 (ペルソナ4, Perusona 4?) (also known as P4) is the fifth video game in the Persona console RPG series (counting the two games of Persona 2, the first one, only released in Japan). The game was developed and published by Atlus Co. for the Sony PlayStation 2 console system. Rather than the city locales of previous games in the series, Persona 4 will take place in the Japanese countryside. It has been said to feature a weather forecast system with events happening on misty days to replace the moon phase system (with events happening on full moons in Persona 3) implemented in the previous games. Its theme is a suspenseful countryside murder mystery (reminiscent of Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni) with multiple twists and turns in the plot.

The actual release date in Japan if i am not mistaken is 10/7/08 so might get it to us by say... next year ? if we are lucky we can get english version and to our shores by say ? december ? yay ! christmas with P4 ! lol

I won't be surprised if the English version comes out this year. Shin Megami Tensei is one of the best gem I've played this year.

Still is gonna take a quite load of time for us to reach it in our grasp don't you think ?

Yeah it's always like that from the first persona game there's always a dark mystery in it like the joker case in persona 2 innocent sin and eternal punishment

read my first post in this thread but not sure when will there be an english version and when will it be within our grasp...

Suggest you to try getting thanatos and fuse it with orpheus and see what you get... :twisted:

I plan on using Armageddon + Victory Cry on my second play through :D .

No, 4 isn't out yet, its just the opening song sequence, but the Japanese version will be released first, maybe you have to wait about 3 - 5 months toget the english one. :D

kaimax it is haven't been confirmed yet whether there is an english version for us or not... but still no harm hoping...

Why wouldn't there be a Persona 4 in English/North American Version? Persona 3 practically started the milestone for American gamers and it has gained a lot of fans. In other words Persona 4 will definitely come out, the American Atlus has nothing better to do anyways other than translating P4 :D .
