yup, it's very hard for characters like naoto to really keep you out, yukiko has some problems to, but her junk can go off at the players command, liz is just a problem child XD, I haven't really sat down with mitsuru, but a lot of her things make it hard for some characters to get in and others to keep her out

I heard the only motion in the game are quartercircles. No halfcircles or DP motions. This should make the game on of the easier ones for execution. Sounds like my type of game.

yup, just double quarter circles for supers, if you can do it forward and backwards you in business

I got my hands on Persona and started running trial modes... The combo system seems really easy. There's not too much timing so far... There is a little bit more to spacing to get some combos to hit right. I've only done Mitsuru so far, and I fail at charging. After playing Marvel so much and never really using charge moves.... I'm rather rusty. You don't get to have as much leniency with your button presses.

There's a promo in Canada that lets you trade in 2 selected used games for P4A. So basically I can get P4A for $40 bucks, should I do it?

I guess I should wait till some reviews come out before I make a decision.

I play Naoto Shirogane for obvious reasons. This game defines what a story mode should be. What i didn't like though was a premise of a sequel. As much as I love the franchise, I wish they wouldn't leave us hanging and just finish with the arc. Unless they're going to make another persona game to cover that next arc it feels bad to buy the same game (+ new characters) over and over just to continue with the story. Like Blaz Blue. Then again when Rise said "Rebel One Action!" in my versus mode, I already knew it was fated to be.

Well, aside from dueling I also wanted to know what they are going with the story this time.

I'm watching UltraChen with Xie, and wow.... These characters are cool. Yukiko and Chie are amazing and rather interesting. Narukami is a basic type, and I don't think I'll ever use Yosuke.

I cant win an online matches for beans. I watch the other players fight and they just spam moves over and over again.


Correct me if im wrong but there are not that many moves you can do in the game to begin with right?

Really liking it from how easy setting up moves are, well made story (Lot of reading but it still good), and so much to do.

It depends on the character. Some have more specials than the others, but the game is deep enough with enough button combinations. You don't need tons of moves if you already have something that can handle any situation.

I'm using Mitsuru because she ended up being the best for me. Kind of rare that the first character I pick I feel the most comfortable with.

I really love this game so far. I'm still pretty bad at it, and I panic with my combos, but I'll get better at it if I keep at it, just as I did with Marvel 3.

Got the game today from GameStop. Had to hit on the girl a little bit for her to save me the display box.
