The character roster seems somewhat iffy. Why throw in Dante, Heihachi and Raiden when they've appeared on the Xbox as well? Just doesn't seem right to me.

So it's okay for Solid Snake to be on Super smash bros for the Wii, but when Playstation wants to gives us characters that we love playing with there is an issue? Playstation is just getting characters that people will like to lessen the complaints about their game and so people can have fun with the characters.

Snake and Sonic looked really out of place in that game as well, but they were executed pretty well which lessens the blow. Raiden however, looks ugly in the trailers and his Blade mode looks terrible. If he does look better by the time the game is released though, I'd change my mind really soon.

Not trying to start a fight but they never called it Nintendo SSB. By naming it PLAYSATION all-stars they are implying characters are sony owned.

I am! Been trying to get into the beta for the longest time. Trying to make some commentaries on it.

Played the open Beta on my VITA about 5 minutes ago. I'm not impressed. I mean I know supers are supposed to mop the floor with everybody but come on. When a super is activated you might aswell stand still and take it like a man. I don't know if I'm doing this right but characters don't seem to have many moves they can do. Also may be my internet but the online part of the game seems t lag.

Alright, I just tried out the beta and here are my thoughts.

Each character has a decent move list, but only to a limit. You'll probably only use 1/4 of the move list. I tried to use as much as I could during my matches.

As for Supers, you can avoid lvl 1+2 supers, if you time your dodges right, but as for lvl 3 supers you can pretty much hang it up. They're all OP as hell with no counter measures on how to avoid them. I did manage to counter a super with my own and kill the opposing player.

Also, the online is bad. I got disconnected about 8 times during my last 13 matches. within 20 minutes. I also went into 4 overtime matches twice and got disconnected on both of them.

My verdict - 7/10

It needs to fix the online play and tone down the supers to where they aren't a one-shot guarantee. This game was meant to be a fun fighting game not a competitive one.

LA Nathan Drake, that's all I care about.

Gotta say I love the commercial except for Kratos. He looks wrong methinks but Cole and Nathan Drake are done fantastically

Yeah, agreed on the part about the supers. Not sure how I feel about this type of game with the supers as the only way to kill someone. Interesting concept but I wish they would have taken a more traditional route.

I enjoyed the beta. But I feel the supers shouldn't be the only way to die. Not to mention they were spammed like crazy.

I originally wasn't going to buy this game but after trying the beta it's definitely something I'll end up picking up. I agree with the whole supers thing though.
