Street Fighter 4?

Not a lot of players use Viper because her execution level needs to be really high. She is a very difficult character to use if you cannot super jump and cancel well and consistently.
Fei Long and Yun are arguably the top two characters in the game, S tier. Akuma is around the low A, Seth is high B.
Viper if you ask a Japanese is a C tier character. If you ask an American, she is a high B.

So the beast got *the* exposed eh. Guess being a tier whore and mash those wakeup DPs are not always a good thing.mashing wakeup dp =/= reading somebody knowing they were going to hit a button and DPing them out of it
by that logic, poongko is doing the same thing every time he DPs someone with seth
fuudo is godlike. top 3 for SF was kinda funny. first place is a VF player, second was GG, third was a KOF player. expooooooosed.
had a lot of fun at evo this year :D

Look at Daigo vs Poongko match once again dude, 3 wakeup upkicks straight. All read like a book. And you're telling me he was *reading* Poongko?

i already know how that match went, gauging things on that alone =/= someones overall playstyle.
probably shouldve never quit ryu to begin with. daigo is way more careless with yun than with ryu.

Actually that wasn't the first time i saw him doing that. And i don't think he will go back to Ryu since Yun is obviously better *by stats, not by player skill*

Making incorrect reads does not mean he was mashing DP. Daigo knew about Poongko's aggressive playstyle, and was hoping to catch with a DP.
I also think Daigo should have stayed with Ryu. He did not do such unsafe things with Ryu like he does with Yun.

In my opinion, I think Daigo, in some respects, did the right choice to switch to Yun in AE.
I find that SSFIV:AE is anti-fireball oriented game now due to the twins anti-fireball game and how they changed Ryu into a less viable character in AE. I am pretty sure Daigo saw that it's better to learn a new and better character than to use a character that will have a harder time will a lot of the cast.
Understandably, Ryu is Daigo's character and he should have stuck with him instead of learning a new character, but at the same time, Ryu isn't as good as he was in Vanilla or SSFIV.

I am surprised that Daigo being perfected by Poongko or losing to Latif isn't in here.

It is only MvC3 and SSFIVAE. There was many much better moments in other games. BlazBlue had a lot of them. Street Fighter also had a lot. Too many Marvel ones. They were good, but OTL

Seriously, I wish these top EVO moment things werent just showing off MVC3 and SFIV, Spark coming out of losers to crush EVERYBODY in the top 8 was a top 3 moment of the entire event from me, and this is coming from somebody who attended and saw all kinds of other stuff on the side...

man over 6 hours of playing with Gouken and i still suck with himGonna take more than 6 hours to learn a character. I've also recently taken up Gouken and have been enjoying him more than many of the other shoto clones. Anything you're having trouble with in particular? I'm no master (I can't even say I'm good either) but I might be able to offer some insight.
