Street Fighter 4?

And why does it matter? If you like the game, buy it. If you want the game, but it. I do not see the problem.

I make the same analogy. Call of Duty, Battlefield, Madden, Final Fantasy, Disgaea, and Halo. I could go on and on.

If anyone feels like running some sets add Them__Bones (two underscore) on PSN. I haven't had a lot of time to practice lately but, I feel that if I get a steady practice partner I'll be more motivated.

I can get on PSN and 360. It gives me a reason to pick up and dust off the ol' SSFIV, so I'll train with you.

My friend who is like God at all fighting games got me into playing fighting games. I am no where near his level but I still train so that maybe one day I can beat him. On Street Fighter 4 I use, Juri and Sakura mostly. Sometimes i use Ibuki and Makoto.

Man, I didn't think there would be so many Sakura mains...
Now I feel less lonely, lol

Man, I remember almost a year ago when SSFIV was still out, I was freakin' #12th Ranked Sakura in the US, and #25th in the World with Sak, online anyways, which doesn't really count for much offline competitively.

Man, I had so much time on my hands to get that high online though. :D

I have no clue where I was in the rankings. I knew I was high up there for sakura, but I'm pretty sure not as high as you.
I know first place in us at that was silvertrinity, ended up finding out he didnt live too far from me, but I've yet to meet him in person... Doubt I will though, but he was good practice.

I remember silvertrinity. I also remember Mr.Flowers, GoombaFromMario, and a few others that were up there with Sak. Used to have Sak mirror matches all the time with them. Good times.

I bought this game today. I got the "SUPER STREET FIGHTER 4 ARCADE EDITION" for 20USD at gamestop. I traded MVC3 for it and i only got 7USD trade in credit. I'd rather have street fighter 4 then MVC3. MVC3 was just collecting dust after the new one was released. I always liked street fighter but i never played it as much as i played mortal kombat. I already tried the whole cast and i can't get the hang of anybody.

My advice is to just find who you like playing with the most and stick with them. I started out as a cammy player and now, I main Cody&Chun

Speaking of characters... I remember that i picked up Makoto so i could learn her before SF3SOE comes out so i'll be ready for it. When 3S came out Makoto was so different in 3S than it was in SSF4 that i just went with random select.
On the other side i still play Mako/Balrog in SSF4 and might even consider myself above average.

Do you use a stick or controller? I have a hard time with those charging moves like Chun-Li's spinning bird kick. When ever i try to she jumps up rather then doing the command.

When I started, I mained chun-li and I used the analog sticks on the controller. Now, I've switched to this stick. Mainly because I had such a hard time with Focus Attack Dash Cancels (FADC's).

The main culprit is probably an execution error, probably a mistimed button press which could be too early or too late (turn on the input display and the input should look like this:

On another topic about street fighter, anybody buy those street fighter figures made by square enix? I bought a Chun-li figure and shes amazing!



Its sucks she doesn't come with a stand and her joints are total shit compared to other square enix figures. Her left arm snapped off on me yesterday. I crazy glued it back on but it won't move side to side now. It didn't have much movement to begin with. I tried to pose her like on the box art. But its still good to go.
