However, you have to keep in mind that the FF13 demo was PS exclusive. The same does not apply to the actual version of the game.

That would be true however the PS3 version of FF13 comes out before the 360 version. It comes out in Japan in the x-mas holidays for the PS3 as an exclusive. FF sells big in Japan and even FF Advent complete sold ridiculously well despite several versions of it being released. That did have a lot to do with the FF DEMO being included but then it just goes back to them willing to buy an entire movie again just to play the DEMO cause they love FF so much. So it will move consoles in Japan in a big way imo.

Bumping this thread to see if we can get some debates going.

I'd stick to my PC, it get all my flavors right.

In other words..

1. Easy to pick-up gameplay.
2. Uber graphics.
3. Pie.

The PC shouldn't even be on the poll, it's not a console, disregard it and pick something else.

I'm surprised that the Wii is still selling strong. (I'm assuming those numbers mean more = more sales, if not disregard the rest of the post).

The Wii hasn't really been throwing out great games recently. (waiting for Mario Galaxy 2)
Although I haven't really been keeping up, most of their great games were Nintendo based, and they've died down. Most American based games are better made on the other 2 consoles.

Maybe its the attractive price tag or the somewhat cute accessories like Wii-Fit, Motion Plus, Wii Music. It's getting old though.


There's still lots more great titles coming out for the PS3. It will eventually outsell the other 2. I'm waiting for a sale so I can grab one myself + few games. Anyone has the slim, is it crap like they say?

I still remember back when I had a ps1 and everyone had one. I and my friends just had to share money to buy 1 game and we keep rotating it.

Lol @ DS outselling the PS3. Nintendo has just been raking it in with all it's consoles. Started with the NES, now it's the Wii. Not to mention they also took over the handheld with ease.

I recently came to the conclusion that the Wii isn't dominating as much as people are saying. Compared to the PS2, PS1, and DS, the Wii only seems to be slightly ahead.

PS3 mainly because I trust Sony more, Besides what do you want a Corvette or a Porsche 911? EXACTLY! :)

Agreed with the trust issue. I've had my PS2 ever since they were launched and it still works fine. Have had a PS3 for about a year and a half now and no issues, save one which was easily fixed. Had a brief stint with the Xbox 360 beforehand, disc would not read after two months.
