Alot of critics agree with what Ive said. The PS3 has actually out sold the 360 as of lately. That doesn't sound like a dead console to me. As I said 2009 & 2010 will be when you all eat your words.

Heres a interesting bit of info. The PS3 will make more money in software then the wii will in hardware sales by 2012.

I never said the PS3 is dead. I only meant that Sony is not getting out of third place this gen.

According to the last NDP results, the 360 outsold the PS3 by 10k units so no, the PS3 is not completely outselling the 360 right now. Also, nobody is is gonna catch the Wii this gen. Have you seen the monster numbers that console brings? No? Well, here are the latest NPD numbers:

PlayStation 3 185.4K
Xbox 360 195.2K
Wii 453.0K

Seriously, there's no way the PS3 or 360 are pulling those numbers anytime soon. Also, those numbers are for August when not a single major title was released for the Wii.

Who said it was dead? But it ain't going to "win" anytime soon, if ever this generation.

The Wii is still going strong despite many critics claiming it was just a fad that would blow over a month after release.

Im just going off of what PS3 fanboy says so send them your hate not me. Truly I want the PS3 to win and weither you believe it will or not is your opinion. If they end up winning/out selling I know alot of people will be shocked as hell, but if they don't oh well.

i think i want the ps3 to get better to because i realy want a ps3 but i just see no point at the moment its over prised for a small collection of good games and a blueray player. i dont want a blue ray player and probably wont want one for a good 5yrs or so. and for that reason im not interested in the ps3 at all

I wouldn't mind the Ps3 winning, i don't care who wins, im using all three consoles.

But as it is now i don't see the Ps3 winning, but i won't deny that lowered prices and new AAA-games could turn that it around.

It's expensive when you compare them to other consoles. The main reason people buy video game consoles is to play video games. Other stuff is nothing more than a bonus.

Well sony can't just reduce the price. Only recently they have been able to make product costs lower.

Just a random thing from me, most people I know bought a PS3 for the cheap blu-ray player. Games came second to them.

sony has just toatly overstreached itself with the ps3 and as a result they will have to keep costs high just to break even on there consoles.

I only want a gaming system, not a blu-ray player or a fuckin computer, the main reason the Ps3 didn't sell as good as Sony thought it would was that everyone thought it was too goddamn expensive.
