Tsukihime

Well seriously I've seen many high rating reviews about Shingetsutan, and everyone who said it was awesome usually did not read the VN. I however read the VN, liked it so much, and watched the Shingetsutan.


Due to me already read the VN beforehand, first episode in I was already conplaining about the character design, and when it was the "Dramatic Arcueid running from Shiki scene" I spilled my drink.

Well, I cant deny it might be good for someone who have not read the VN (A search in review on Shingetsutan results in some nice reviews), just like some group of people in my place who liked FSN anime alot without even knowing the existance of the VN. But once you finished reading Tsukihime VN you see, you cant un-read it and cant help but compare it with the adaption you see afterwards. Its like watching your favourite something gets ruined.

Tsukihime's real deal is the VN, just like FSN.

Btw it gets better late game, at the Tohno Family routes, :p. Thats all what Tsukihime is about ~~

Okay you want to play the "serious card" on this piece of crap? Fine. Your side is on "how good it is and completely stick to it" while our side that it's too fucking STUPID. Even bad animes have a place in this world as they become the standard for a "not to immitate" but your Shitofaworld Failureofananime replica of Tsukihime has no right to exist at all in our eyes! Saying that it sucks insults the word sucks in a sense that at least animes that suck are worth ranting about! This is an absolute waste of time to even place inside my DVD player. Not only did this bullshit had manfaced women it also censored/cut all the fighting and gore that made Tsukihime into TSUKIHIME. Now if you're gonna continue crying "wahhh wahh my thread got derailed because my anime doesn't exist" then feel free to do so!

Anyway, this as simple as this, when Hollywood makes an adaptation of something, some rage cause its a fail one or something.

@darykk Naoto pretty much sums it all up. I guess Type-Moon staffs right now are busy milking Fate to the max trying to keep it alive and making more money for them (Fate/Extra lol). There's a lot of rumors regarding Tsukihime remake's process, like they gonna work on it after their other projects such as mahoyo, or they gonna release it on December 2010, which is Tsukihime's 10th anniversary.

I think they are releasing Mahoyo first, referenced from their own website, where they written Mahoyo's release date 2010, while others not known yet.

How can he go Nanaya mode when in MB or Kagetsu Tohya Nanaya Shiki is a diffrent persona or person I think

Nah Shiki isn't a tohno to begin with but originates from the nanaya clan. He was just raised properly that's why his alternate personality always sleeps whenever he doesn't fight.

Well i think i got that right, it's been way too long since i last played KT or even Tsukihime... But it seems that it was clear enough when Shiki killed Arcueid on an impulse at the beggining of the story... Even if it was described as unclear to him, he reacted immediatly against something non-human.

Nanaya blood only reacts to nonhuman. Without it Shiki's just a highschool kid with anemia. He still got the eyes, but not the superhuman speed. Don't see examples from Melty Blood, which is a fighting game where a maid can pwn a vampire princess with a broom and molotov cocktails.
So it's gonna be tough getting close to Shirou if he could sword spam. Dunno if Nanaya mode will switch on if he sees Archer's arm. But if it's Fate/UBW Shirou.. pfft no contest.



Not sure about that. But if he could all he's gonna need is a sniper rifle and a camo suit, and wait in a bush for that stupid redhead to come out from his mansion.

also that's the very reason why nanaya dose not have MEoDP in Melty Blood..

@somesome: his blood also kicks in as a last resort Survival instinct... proof is with nero fight... if his blood only reacted to non-humnas then his blood would have kicked in and he would have been able to kill nero instantly...

instead it kicked in only after he was at the brink of death and a good way for CMoA

He officially can? O_o Since i've never seen a scene where he used his eyes from long range.
And Nanaya doesn't have the eyes is canon to the story. Basically its mechanism is like Ryougi Shiki, but he has less personality.

ed: Nero is also non-human, so no wonder the Nanaya blood kicked in. He couldn't control it to a level when he could activate it at will. He just couldn't go Nanaya on normal humans that's all.
