Yup.
But the only good thing on it is the 128mm six shooter.
Rest not so much.
I still feel that WG showed us the middle finger with this line.

Well, the thing that's most important on a tank destroyer is the gun. Look at the ISU-152: slow, big, cumbersome, but everyone loves it cus BL-10. The problem I see with these new German tanks is that they may have powerful guns, and some of them are fast, but that's it. Unless they have awesome camo values, they will be the next most vulnerable targets in the field along with artilleries - all the above is strictly IMHO.
That said, it'll make sense investing in the Dicker Max - good way to train in the ways of this new line.

Dunno about you guys, but I'm just waiting to get my hands on a tier 10 amx 12t with a 3000 potential burst damage autoloader.
Also you say that pen is bad, but playing my su 152 with the 152mm has shown me how easy it is to get yourself into positions where you can fire off 750 damage 132mm pen ap rounds with great results
also, heat on that thing is going to be complete pubstomp material

Yea, HEAT will kill alot of tanks. Maybe it was made to sell HEAT shells?
Dunno tbh.

8.9 test server up guys. Grab the link on FTR
played a few rounds with WT E100. yup, amx 12t at tier 10, on flat ground this thing can shift to 35 and maintain it pretty easily.

Elited the KV-1S, time to free exp the turret for the IS and then hop in it. If the IS is at least as good as the KV-1S in terms of mobility and armor, then I'm going to be happy. :3
Also, but this is the far future, I'll try to grind through the Porsche line of German tanks, the objective being the VK 45.02 (P) Ausf. B. Don't care if EVERYONE says the E-75 is better, I love how unique the Shoe is. Also, eliting the Porsche Tiger on the same line will take a lot, so more time to train the crew (and good thing that EVERY tank from the Pz. IV to the Shoe is a 5-men machine).

If the 30.01p wasn't such a flying pile of shit I'd be more than happy to grind to the maus. I absolutely love driving it on the test server.

Yeah well, the VK 30.01 (P) is, unfortunately, the bad thing about the Porsche line of tanks. Good thing I have it fully upgraded, but still, grinding 45k exp in that hunk of junk will be a pain.

maus is fun though from what I've seen. If you get yourself into shootouts down long narrow flanks that's where you can have fun imho.

For obvious reasons I never played the Maus, but from its stats, it's a love/hate feeling I get: ludicrous armor (even more when angled) and a ton of health makes me love it, but the gun lacks penetration at that tier.
Also, while I'm perfectly ok with slow, super tough tank destroyers, I'd like versatility from a heavy tank - a good combination of mobility, armor and firepower, which is why, before I tackle the Germans, I'll try to learn the IS line of Soviet tanks. If it offers what I ask, then I wouldn't mind going up to the IS-8 (another love me/hate me tank according to the WoT forums).

American heavies are the essence of versatility from tier 8 onwards. Also, the maus gun is acceptable at its tier. The low rof is compensated by the fact that you'll generally survive long enough to put round after round into the enemies ahead. I remember dealing around 5k damage my first game just holding a flank alone.

Well, yesterday I unlocked the IS and took it for a joyride. The tank is really good, first match got me Mastery Badge 2nd Class and Steel Wall, the armor on that thing is amazing. Unfortunately, it introduces nothing new, it's basically a slower and up-armored KV-1S with better RoF.

Also, slaved away at the type T-34 and finally got the Type 58. In my honest opinion, the mediums don't start to get fun until tier 6, the tier 4 mediums are just cursed with poor guns and hp to be enjoyable.

There was Tier 5 med that was fun.
PZ4 schumalturm with 7,5 L70. Thats now tier 6 premium. Meh whatever.
But type T-34. I still drive it.
57 is a crap gun
Good pen but not enough punch to make it a proper contender. But the ROF fixes it somewhat.
I also picked up Arty line again. Might rebuy my G.W. Panther

Also, and I forgot to ask this, I would like some help about something.
As you probably know, currently I'm grinding the T25 AT because, unfortunately, the other Tier 7 American TD, the T25/2, is just garbage. Sure, I was a noob when using it, but no matter how you sugar-coat it, that tank is just weak. Doesn't matter if it has low HP or poor armor since it's a tank destroyer, but having the worst top gun of ANY Tier 7 tank is just painful.
With that said, it's also true that the T25/2 is the only way to get to the T30 via the T28 Prototype - and the T30 is a tank I would've loved to play for a long time.
So I would like to ask you, what should I do:
1. Keep the T25 AT and get at least the T28 (do note however that I'm also grinding the British TD line, so it would have similar gameplay). In this case, I'll probabaly re-buy the T34 for Christmas (it's a nerfed T30 after all).
2. Suck it up and painfully grind the T25/2 once more, armed with better knowledge of maps and TD tactics. This would also mean starting to seriously use gold ammo.
Thanks in advance to anyone who would help.

At the end of the day, I think the T110E3 is stronger than the T110E4 simply because of the fact that the tumor weakspot is so much more difficult to penetrate. If you really want to drive a T30 though, a T34 or T29 will give you a similar experience. The T95 is a golden egg in the line for many td drivers, and the T28 trumps the T28 proto in that it actually has enough armor to bounce atleast some heat/apcr rounds from the front at its tier and above. It all depends on what you enjoy driving really, you shouldn't feel too pressured to get a certain tank if you drive another well. The test server is also always up atm if you want to drive them around

Thanks for the advice.
Just to be clear though, I won't go up to Tier 10 - not as soon as I unlock them at least, which will take a while btw.
Anyway, I guess I'll go for the less difficult and slightly more expensive way: get T28 (and one day T95) and re-buy T34, and be happy with them.
'murica **** YEAH! X3
