Coming back to this, I appreciate the slight hints the author left to show Kouta, in the grand scheme of things, is going to be alright.

Akina has already pointed out Kouta was popular in class and I'm pretty sure that one girl on Page 31 might have a thing for Kouta (or at least, Akina kind of ships them or something).

This hurt to witness, but I guess you can call it growing pains. Life's full of them. And hey, we only ever see a moment in their lives. You can headcanon whatever you want. I like to think one in every 5 Vanilla MCs has experienced this kind of heartache.

This was really refreshing take on the ugly bastard / ntr genre - where there's actually little coercion involved and it's more about how feelings don't exist in a vacuum.

Akina clearly cares very deeply for Kouta, and still does even after getting with Tatsuya. But the difference between Kouta and Tatsuya is that Tatsuya is upfront about his feelings and is actively pursuing not just to date Akina, but to understand her feelings and to be understood. You can like someone, but it's hard to have a relationship without both people working to make it one. Tatsuya did the work.

Is Tatsuya still acting on his jealousy in not the healthiest ways? Does he not stop fucking when she says to stop? Yeah LOL but I chalk that up to hentai. LBR Tatsuya would be written to do the same thing if he ever got to fuck Akina.

Honestly at first i wasnt a fan of this series, but after fully reading it i actually like it.

First of all, saying this as a shy man with self-esteem problems, FUCK Kouta. There is being indecisive and there is wating TWO FUCKING YEARS to confess.

The worst part is that the third page of this ch seems to connect to the first page of ch 1, wich would mean that Kouta (potentially) kept her waiting for a confession for two years since she was totally ready for a relationship together.....thats bullshit.

Tasuya seems ok, on the insecure side wich makes him being very pushy regarding Kouta but if the cheating story was true then its understandable.

If anything this chapter solodify my view that its just unreasonable to ask Akina to wait more than two years for Kouta to make his fucking mind when someone else has no problem in taking the initiative.

Reading this now only shows how pressed this guy is on the CHF still lol this girl gave up on him quick.

People get so miffed about this probably because they see themselves as the childhood friend in this situation. Tatsuya isn't a bad guy, he gave Skins the attention she wanted and was sincere with his feelings while Kouta beat around the bush for his own lack of self worth. Kouta's best friend even points out that Akina might not even be interested in Kouta's prerequisites for dating her. He did it to himself, Kouta is a CUCK and deserves to have his chance taken from him for being a wishy washy moron.

Feel a bit bad for the big muscled up dude if he does genuinely like her. She's hung up on her childhood friend, and may never truly get over him. Plus he looks shady as hell, which probably doesn't help.

*Hmph* This was a hot part of the story. I’d feel really good about the saga in total if it wasn’t for 2 things. First, even as jerky as he has been in the previous chapters, I just wish Tatsuya didn’t have that Dick Dastardly look to him bc he really isn’t doing anything wrong with going out with Akina. And that leads into the second point. With this being only the prequel and he does look so sinister, there might be rough sailing for Akina going forward where she gets into more than what she wanted.

When the mc of a romance manga that went 200 chapters with barely any plot progression gets hit with ntr. Feels bad/good?

The art is top notch. But the story is a bummer.

Nice prelude glad to get more context to the story and more sexy sex scenes by Dramus! Overall a very adult story about moving on and letting go. That is why you shouldn’t wait around cuz you are just asking for you crush to be snatched away by a more assertive person.

Ah Dramus, Never ceases to amaze me with the art. A well deserved ending for her!
