Love Me Tender

Ok. You got more of my hard worked money. I didn't work hard for it though.

The book contains some very nice romantic vanilla stories. The big story is the 3-part Battlefield series (+ extra color prologue) a nice little story about and idol and their manager gradually falling for each other, with a bit of a general reversal of the usual idol-manager setup (i.e. the idol is the man).

There are also a few other assorted romantic stories in the book, including the August Lights story which will get a follow up in Your Song (and which inspires a lot of the shared universe of that book). And then there some...less vanilla stuff. For example GRIZZLY, which is a rather quirky monster/animal girl story. Or LOVE with GOLD which is a cheating+prostitution story that doesn't really fit with the themes of the rest of the book. If you like some weird stuff mixed it makes things interesting, but if you're not a fan of that sort of thing it can be a bit of a weird interrupt of your otherwise vanilla book.

Overall I enjoyed the more creative plotlines, which were happy to use the usual clichés but usually with some fun twists on them.

Most of the material is available via subscription, although not entirely as some of it comes from very old Kairakuten issues that predate FAKKU's publication of them.

I actually discovered FAKKU's existence when I stumbled across Loving Blossoms on Amazon. I was, of course, rather excited to see there were more Fujimaru books available here. Great short stories and just a great anthology, if not my favorite one.

A lot of fun and different stories with good art and cute faces. The bear story is bizarre for sure!

This here is a great collection of one-shots from a terrific author who draws some really nice shapely boobs. Chapter quality varies and your preferences might lead you to enjoy some parts of the book over others but overall I feel like this is a well rounded offering of one-shots.

My fave chapters:
Romantic Dust Shooters - casual threesome with a hilariously stupid premise.

LOVE with GOLD - busty blonde ends up selling her body to an older gentleman, and she ends up absolutely LOVING it!

This is Love - man fantasizes about sex with a really cute convenience store clerk who is a lot younger than him.

I'm a fan of Fujimaru's stuff, so while I don't think this was the best anthology, it was still worth full marks.

Fujimaru is one of the premiere Vanilla authors. So, having a collection of works like this is highly recommended. Great art, and great story telling.

Fujimaru’s “Love Me Tender” is a 12-chapter book with a focus on vanilla relations (and some not so vanilla stories as well). Most chapters are of an average length of 20 pages, but some, like chapter 2, are very short. The main story that starts on chapter 2 and goes through chapter 5 follows a story between Takumi-kun and Sumire-San and their developing relationship as an idol and manager respectively. The other stories also include vanilla love, but GRIZZLY was sort of an odd story as well as one NTR story, a few group stories and a cool futuristic one called August Lights to wrap up an otherwise fantastic manga. Overall, I felt that the main story was an unusually powerful vanilla love story and this manga scores more points for its storytelling abilities than many others I have read as I felt myself rooting for Sumire and Takumi’s relationship near the end. If you like romantic vanilla stories, then this manga is for you. Otherwise, you may not find a ton of enjoyment if you want more hardcore content or if vanilla stories are not your thing.

Fujimaru's art style is not really familiar with but is similar to Hisasi but off. For the most part means it has plenty of cute girls most of them are busty. Now the book contains a four part story arc with a manager and her client, then eight one shots. I found it to be a bit of a mixed bag some of the stories are funny and other steamy and others just ok. For me this it was worth it I got a few good laughs.

A good portion of this tank contains stories featuring young adults as opposed to school children (even if one says they're in high school). And (IMHO) that is a very good thing. What we've got here is straightforward and rather pleasant stories flavored with vanilla or at least happy sexy fun time; the only weird one out is "Romantic Dust Shooters" (really didn't see that ending coming). But on the whole, it's worth adding to my collection. And if the overall content is to your liking, it's worth adding to yours also.

The reason this gets a five star rating from me is quite simple honestly. The faces and story are so well drawn and endearing that it only enhances the already amazing art to another level for me. The main showcase here is the four chapter long "battlefield" series that shows off the love story of a male idol that joined the biz just to shack up with some cute girls only to end up with his manager. Their emotions in their faces across all the chapters is a fujimaru signature to me and is seen amazingly done here.

Mostly great collection, but does contain some ugly bastard works as well which slightly hurt my rating for the book. However the battlefield series is the gem of the book with a great story, characters, and some nice sex scenes. Overall a great collection, but just misses that must own status for anyone that's a big vanilla fan.

I always come back to read the chapter "This is love" from time to time. I read it already when it was free. It's my ultimate favorite. I like how Adachi-san is behaving around his crush... because I behave the same though I'm not a man. I wish there would be a sequel.

" Romantic Dust Shooters" killed me.. WOW, just wow, I never saw that plot twist coming. I laughed so hard, well.. it killed my mojo. But hey at least my funny bone got exercised. *shrug*
