Legitimately some of the best vanilla content I've ever read. Gives its couples and scenarios room to breathe, develops the unique dynamics of each relationship in a way that makes them feel real. More than most hentai I've read, these characters and their relationships feel like more than a hot premise for sex, like they have lives outside of these short snippets. I credit this mostly to its sense of pacing, and willingness to devote time to non-sexual interactions. These are just windows into the sex lives of these couples, and it sells that premise better than most, maybe all short hentai collections I've read.

The art is great, for sure, but it's the writing that gets me. If you want vanilla stories about couples exploring sexuality in various ways, without it feeling overly cliched or formulaic but giving a sense of genuine connection, you can't do much better than this.

A collection of seven Special Days stories from Koh, this book features a variety of stories but all focused on happy little tales of young lovers. If any one of the stories is up your alley, then you'll enjoy all of them.

While seven stories might seem a bit light, most of them are pretty long with three 20+, three 30+ and one 40+ story. The stories aren't afraid to actually spend some time on the characters and their relationships. Don't worry though, there's still sex: it's soft stories, not softcore.

The material in the book is all from Koh, but since FAKKU stopped releasing any new issues after 1 & 2 all but one of the stories in the book is unavailable via subscription; everything else is from volumes 3-9. (Perhaps someday FAKKU will change their minds and this comment will be out of date)

Great collection of stories focused on lovey-dovey couples having wholesome vanilla relationships. Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys vanilla hentai.

I love Special Days because of the way it reads. There is a healthy focus in the character’s relationship to one-another, the romance is sweet, there are a variety of heroine personalities, and the art strikes a good balance between detailed and simple (especially for the backgrounds, which I greatly appreciate).

The 40+ page chapter is a treat, as are the few bonus illustrations! Oh, and there ate plenty of “after” chapters in the mix to enjoy.

Warm Room is the most different chapter of this book as it is almost solely focused on sexy time (think Summer Days from Hamao).
