Yesterday I finished Amaranto, Phenomeno and a OELVN named Down on the Corner.

Regarding Amaranto, I still think that the story overall was pretty rushed though it got better as I was reading other routes and the true route. It was just the story because the characters interactions could use a lot more work. I can't really say that I was satisfied by the end of it but the VN is minimally decent. It has some nice scenes. I give at maximum a 6 / 10.

About Phenomeno, well, after reading Zolnir post I was totally looking forward for the VN to scare the shit out of me but I realised something when reading Phenomeno. I'm not really into horror stories so I couldn't feel all the suspense that it was intended for me to feel. But I still got some chills in some parts lol
The sounds and music as expected from Nitro Plus are pretty good so I was not surprised to hear some tracks that creep us out.
Nevertheless, I still found the story pretty interesting and for someone who is a fan of this type of stories, I'm sure they will like it.

Speaking about Phenomeno made me remember Higurashi. Higurashi truly made me kind of fearful to get through in some scenes. I would love to find another VN that made me feel like that.

Now speaking about Down on the Corner. I saw that OELVN mentioned on VNDB and it got me curious because of the cover. I was expecting some serious amusement but what awaited me was utter disappointment. The objects and scenes could be used to give us some serious lulz but they were not developed that much. Maybe it's because my pervert self need more stimulus than the one the OELVN presented lol
It's also pretty short. I think I finished it on about 20 minutes or something like that.

Regarding Amaranto, so far I just finished one route but the game is very mediocre. Stuff starts to happen before you get that "feel" for the characters and you don't enjoy as much as you want some scenes because of that. Directly related to this is the fact that the story seems pretty rushed. Also to mention the voice acting. Man, after Hoshizora no Memoria I kind of suffer with the voice acting on Amaranto but it's still bearable.

Let's see if I'll have my mind changed by the time I finish Amaranto.

I merely presented my opinion regarding this matter saying that even if OP told Jacob about the thread, I didn't understand the purpose / meaning of it since there are much better resources out there.

As you should know, Jacob is Fakku creator but when I said that I "...still don't understand what is going on on this thread..." I was already taking that into account. I wanted a better explanation. Even so, I resigned myself and said "Well, I guess so" letting the issue die because pursuing it would just be a waste. There's no awkward moment here. At least, I didn't felt like that.

Now to mention something to avoid misunderstandings:

No, absolutely not a recommendation. I guess that he's just poiting out some Visual Novels for anyone that doesn't know about them or maybe volunteer himself to do uploads of the ones that have dead links. Then again, with all that was already said respectively



I honestly still don't understand what is going on on this thread since we already have the VN Resources thread with a link to VNDB where we can search for VNs including their tags and the list is much, MUCH bigger.
However, like I said above, if you're volunteering yourself to upload feel free to do it. It'll be appreciated. Remember that if you start uploading you need to follow the rules.

So... just finished Hoshizora no Memoria and the current time is about 8:30 AM
Since I started around 11PM I was reading for at least 9 hours. Man, it's been quite a while since I spent so much time reading a VN in one go. I think the last time I done something like this was when I was reading Umineko. I really got hooked into it.

I already said previously what I think about it so I will just say that Mare and the misterious girl must be my waifus! lol
From all the VNs that I read until now, they are two of the best heroines I've seen so far.

Now if you'll excuse me, I seriously need some sleep.

Been reading Hoshizora no Memoria -Wish upon a Shooting Star- from the beginning once again. Ahh, why do I love so much this VN =P coughmoegecough

I cleared all routes with exception of the misterious girl and Mare's.
In some minutes I'll start Hoshizora and will clear the misterious girl route in one go. I'm also thinking of clearing Mare's route while I'm at it to completely finish the VN.

Let's see... it's about 11PM around here so I should just go to sleep when it's about 6AM or later. This should be good lol
I just ate and have some juice by my side so I won't leave my computer in the next hours xD
