That sucks but at least it's under warranty right? I'm no big rig expert but I can guess that a new motor would cost more then a few dollars.

Dear Sir,I just thought you might want an intermediate solution, sorry that you didn't find it to your liking.
To answer your question: yes, it really is a theme changer, and yes, the icons can be restyled, too, by replacing the icons from "/templates/alexis2/images/cicons.png" in the original css file with a custom set of icons of your preference in the new css file you feed to "stylish".
Making something like the screenshot you posted is a mere matter of copy-pasting the original style sheet for the forums, string-replacing the colors you wish to change and whipping up some icons that match your taste.
That point, however, has obviously become moot.
You have completely lost me. That's okay tho cause I have no intention of learning.
If you have no intention of learning do not make a topic about changing the skin.
I don't remember asking how to change the skin. So why would I want to learn how? I said I was both suggesting and requesting this. That you would make a theme changer with themes in it like other sites have for their users. It was no big deal really in the beginning and if it means a lot of work like I said I can deal with it. It's not the most important thing. A theme changer isn't uncommon among sites but if you don't want to I can respect that. You have your reasons being they personal or just not wanting to. No offense and none taken.

Well you don't have to use the addon.Oh don't worry, I uninstalled that thing real fast.

The main point of what I was trying to get across was that I personally will not be making more themes. Anyone is welcome to make themes on their own and post them on the site. If they are good themes and people like them, I could set up something where you can select it in your profile. That is a bummer. So I will have to see if a friend who actually knows what the hell is doing will give it a shot. Guess it is better then a refusal to changing the site at all. I was afraid you would say it would ruin the site originality or some other bull crap. Thanks for the info tho and I will hopefully be getting back to you on that.

Another helpful addition might be to add a service such as anonym.to to the forum's link parser; it strips referrers from any clicked link. I hear that has proven quite effective (among other measures) for other places combating the same issue.
I know two sites that use that. It does work to an extent as I have seen. Also if we are going to use that method I suggest having the site do it automatically. As in the site adding the url to the link on all the links put on Fakku. It just makes things easier. There are other site protection ways but some tbh are a pain in the ass to both set up and to download from. Some popping up adds and others wanting a password and another password followed by a final password.
The main problem with the links is faggots. I call them faggots cause they are flagging for no reason other then the sick pleasure they get from watching people complain. Games with 20 + links will have the last link dead on threads where the user is either no longer here or no longer has the game. So the user has wasted there time downloading the previous 20 links.
I have downloaded and installed this program and I can tell you already that I hate it. I may be a little just annoyed with the fact that it lead me to a completely different page then went on about how to do it and the security risks that are involved. It seems really overly complicated and it immediately made me hate it.
None the less I figured it out. User created themes for sites and all that Jazz. Most are crap tho and I am not willing to make one myself nor would I know how. Plus the whole security thing was a no for me.
In short it's crap. Having a theme changer is much easier for people. A simple click to change the theme. Not to mention what about the people without FF? Are they just screwed if they have sensitive eyes? Plus it's not really a theme changer from what I've seen (which has been very little mind you). Like the sites icons and etc. Refer to the Code Geass themed Forum I posted. I had a very strong feeling that this would go down in flames but I am still hoping it can be done. I am in no rush by any means. It's just a nice feature to have.
The add on would have indeed solved my hurting eyes problem but if it means looking at something that is crappy and complicated with a security risk I will take the eye pain.
What I think would be badass is a Tomoyo themed Fakku. Blues and silvers. That would be just eye candy tho.

I am suggesting and requesting this. Fakku is uniques in it's colors. Honestly there are no other forums that I know of that are these particular colors. But the harsh white hurts my eyes after staring at it for a long period of time and I think a skin changer for different colors would be nice.
Basically the complete opposite of what the colors are now. The whites being black, the pink splash being either blue or lime green. The red being the forums being changed to Green also or Blue. If I were to give an example it would be this.
Of course this would only be a option. Just something that if someone like me didn't like staring at such harsh colors for a long time on a big monitor. It could be added to the tool bar as Fakku's skins or Fakku's themes. The default of course would be classic Fakku but like I said I would appreciate it and it would be a nice option. I know of at least one other person that agrees with me on this. Does anyone else think it would be nice to have? It would be much appreciated.

The "Before you post." box will help I am sure but there have been requests happening outside of the request section since it has been put in place. Maybe people's definition is just different from ours but it's more the case of being stupid.
That sounds fine to me. It will be ignored and I think a auto linking would be better but that's just me. It would have been ignored anyways but at least nobody can say we didn't try right?
Also I have a question Jacob. How bad is Fakku during the no school portion of the year? By that I mean does the troll, noob, idiot factor go up?

Or, before a user makes their first post display something along the lines of "You are about to make your first post on FAKKU, make sure you understand our rules and posting guidelines before you continue". And link them to the rules thread. That sounds fine to me. It will be ignored and I think a auto linking would be better but that's just me. If someone called me Otaku irl which hasn't happened yet it wouldn't bother me at all. If anything I would go out of my way to prove how much of a Otaku I am. Probably by pulling out my flash drives with some of my favorite stuff on it and showing off my Saber collection. Then direct them to fakku where I am a very active member at. Foruming, talking, chatting, texting, emailing and IMing my fellow Otaku friends.
I was more suggesting making it mandatory. As in after you have registered it links you to the FAQ and rules thread even if you don't wanna go. The forum auto linking a new registered user there. I am all for having a link to it in the "Before you post." part as well.
I don't know if the current registration process links to the FAQ and rules thread in Suggestions but if it doesn't it should in my opinion. It more then likely will have little to no effect on the new users. 95% of which will just ignore it and post outside of the request section, or not follow other rules. But, at least they would have no excuse. Suggestions is the least visited forum in all of Fakku I believe. It is a great feat for a thread in Suggestions to reach even a 1000 views.
The current FAQ and rules thread as of right now has 5,144 views. And Fakku has 130,000 something users. That's not news to anyone tho. We all know that new users do not look at the FAQ and rules thread. With all the schools letting out now I suspect Fakku is going to go up both in traffic and new registered users. Over the past week Fakku has had 700 something new registered users.
It's just a suggestion but it is something that could help. We all have noticed the thing to the side of posting that says "Before you post." That has probably helped as well but it hasn't stopped it. Anyone else support this idea?

Oh, alright. Yeah I can understand that. And I'm not going to even attempt to justify why I don't like a game because it's completely irrelevant. I don't because I don't, but I don't expect anyone to agree with me. It's a silly case for someone to try an justify their opinion when it comes to taking about video games. XDIt's okay I agree with you. And I am not just saying that cause I am a PS3 fanboy. I have owned many 360s but I have not gotten a wii and I won't. Cause I know it will see little to no use. I have played some fun wii games. Zelad, Mario Galaxy etc. It still wouldn't get much use. Maybe I would give it to my little sister if I bought it then got tired of it a week later. She has been wanting one.
I have no clue. I am called four to six different things on the forum. Animeholic1. AH1, AH, Holic. I typed in animeholic1 and got 22 pages, AH1 got 5 pages, Holic got 88 pages.
In short.
Animeholic 1 - 22 ages
Animeholic - 21 pages
AH1 - 5 pages
Holic - 88 pages

As for funny VNs I would have to go with Edelweiss on that. It has some good lulz in it and focuses a bit more on sex then the others I have given you. The two I gave you before are very plot driven. Both with epic stories. Edelweiss has a good story as well but not as epic as the other two, in my opinion anyways.
Edelweiss synopsis : Guess how hard you'd study if the good GPA can take you to the sex paradise.
Kazushi and his buddies are fed up with their bad grades and boring high school life.
Just when their sex crave was ready to burst out, they found out about the exchange student program to a girls high school in isolated island: A ticket to ride for sex!!
As you can see it isn't exactly the most plot driven thing but it is still heads and tails above most of the stuff you have played, in my opinion. The English translation is a little dodgy. It is poorly done to be honest. But you can still completely understand what is going on and what they are saying. It just hasn't been polished. Once again it's on Fakku.
