Misaka Mikoto strolled around the streets of School Garden. Today she'd meet Saten Ruiko and Uiharu Kazari, along with her best friend, as well as her roommate; Shirai Kuroko. However, must to their dismay, each had their own reasons for not being able to make it. Kuroko and Uiharu had Judgement work. Saten had... some business with confirming rumors, which Mikoto didn't know if she'd want to assist her with. In the end, finding herself bored, she walked alongside the pavements of School Garden, not knowing how to spend the rest of the day. The other day, she fought with a rather persistent boy known as Touma, the battle ended up in yet another draw. Mikoto still felt smug and annoyed about the conclusion. She had also been wondering about something... "Just who was that girl who passed through the bridge that day? Was she someone that he knew? Or was it just an innocent civilian? I didn't expect a student to be out of school at that time," she asked to particularly anyone.
However, there was irony in her statement, she herself skipped classes that day. Perhaps she felt that it was alright for her to do so. She is, after all, one of the well known geniuses of Tokiwadai. Mikoto's knowledge may be on par, or greater than Touma's, as Tokiwadai is known to follow a more advanced course. As a prestigious school, raising the best of the best, rich and pure girls is the duty of it's educators. Mikoto is one of the top scorers of the exams at Tokiwadai, her fast calculation ability is proven whenever she is able to dish out static electricity at her own will as if it's as easy as breathing oxygen in and out of her lungs. This is why classes would sometimes be boring to Mikoto, and she'd end up skipping classes to look for something 'fun' around the city, but this doesn't really make her a delinquent.
"Well, what do you know... speak of the devil!" Mikoto's chestnut-colored eyes were set on a girl who walked into a pastry store. Mikoto didn't see the face, but her brain recognized the very figure, and that silver long hair, she also realized the stuffed doll that coddled over her chest; covered by her arms, she wore the name school uniform as her; Tokiwadai Middle school uniform. Mikoto hadn't realized till now, but she is from the same school as herself. Mikoto concluded that she'd know for sure if she saw the face - especially the eyes, both the colors of her eyes are of different colors, she wondered just what caused her eyes to have such colors.
Mikoto walked into the store. She placed her hand on the silver-haired girl's right shoulder, [b]"Excuse me but, are you the one who I saw in the bridge yesterday?"

September 30st, morning, school time, 12:36pm:
"So, she's gone, you say?"
"Specifically, kidnapped."
"But why? Why'd they kidnap a child like her? You haven't told me much about her yesterday, but does she have some kind of a special power?"
"Deceleration. That's her ability. Academy City wouldn't pass this up without developing it for their own experiments."
"So... "
"I assume those opposing the Academy City's will kidnapped her to stop it's plans, perhaps~? ★"
"That's going a little too far, I mean... she's only a young child!"
"Most adults don't think like that."
Misaki sighed. This morning, Fuyuko was nowhere to be found. She spent an hour looking everywhere, until she found some suspicious from yesterday's experiment. It was the person who drove them back to School Garden, a woman who seemed pretty. Upon getting all the information with her powers, Misaki realized that something was going on. With the use of her power and connections, she found out that recent 'terrorists' that had appeared in a certain mall for their operations - namely, a faction from the underworld of Academy City known as 'BLOCK' - kidnapped Fuyuko to use her as a bargaining chip of some kind against the Superintendent of the city. It was a futile move, most likely. Such a thing wouldn't help them, she believed. It was a foolish move, Misaki decided to save Fuyuko, the girl who reminded her of her now-deceased friend, Dolly. She clenched her fist, with a pose she spoke to Ayane who sat beside her, on a subway station, "You're coming with me, your attacking ability will be helpful~! ★"
Ayane smiled, "I'd help out even if you didn't ask me to, Misaki-san," she then showed an expression of seriousness, "So, where are the BLOCK members hiding?"
"According to the information I got. Resource Recycling Center Number 3, a facility in district 5. A large establishment used for processing recyclable materials. It is almost fully automated, so around only 14 people were employed in the facility. It's rather easy to take over for people who can get around security easily."
"Well? What are we waiting for, then?"
"Preparations, I'm almost done~! ★" she gave a cute pose to portray her future-victory. "I'll let you watch something spectacular, Ayane-san!" she then mentioned that by the time they reached facility, it'd be around 2:45pm.

(This is a joint post between BlinkXPoke and Cinia Pacifica.)
While relieved that her accusation was simply a misunderstanding, Jun was still mildly wounded by Ayane's words. Being mistaken for a pervert was a blow to his self-esteem. Regardless, he accepted her apology. He could tell it was a sincere apology, especially since she looked as though she felt guilty about it. In fact, it also for some reason made Jun feel guilty himself.
He was caught off guard when Ayane leaned toward him and patted his head. It was surprising, but comforting. I could never be mad at her; Ayane seems so nice... It was kind of my fault that this misunderstanding happened, anyways...
Jun's eyes lit up when Ayane agreed to help him. "Thank you! Thank you!" he exclaimed repeatedly, nearly knocking over the pile of cans he set up near him in his excitement. "Whoa!" He mangaged to prevent the pile from completely toppling over by grabbing the cans that nearly fell. He set one aside for himself to drink, and offered another to Ayane. "Would you like one?" It was a peach-flavored drink, one of Jun's personal favorites.
Ayane smiled, it seemed that her attempt at cheering him up worked more than she thought it would, so much that he almost accidentally knocked over the cans... was it really that big of a deal that he'd receive her help? Ayane wondered, all she could have him do was the usual, have him do more exercise. This is pretty much the only solution given to the level 0 students who gets special classes. She was pretty sure this was most likely the case, his general psychic attributes - such as telekinesis or psychometry - was low, as such he hadn't been able to control his power. His body needed to be more active physically, at the same time he also needed to train his mind. This was her educated guess.
It was actually amusing to Jun that Ayane had forgotten his name yet again. His name isn't very complex, and he considers himself to be a memorable person, due to his personality. With a grin, he told her "Shi-mi-zu Jun-i-chi!" for the third time, slowly this time. "Just call me Jun if it's too difficult to remember!" He remained cheerful, so Ayane wouldn't feel bad about this matter. Even this aside, it was fun to talk to her.
Ayane had a rather innocent look on her face, she assumed that Jun would be mad, just like the last time they met. But it didn't seemed to be the case this time, "Mnm... Shi-mi-zu Jun-i-chi... Jun, Jun, Jun..." she went silent for a moment, as if taking time to memorize the name, then took a moment to articulate an actual response to his words, "Hopefully, I'll remember it," she gave a forced smile. She held absolutely no confidence in those words she uttered just now.
Ayane had a problem with remembering people themselves, more than their names, especially those who weren't a part of her personal life. She hadn't been to school much in her past. She received special classes in Nagatenjouki Academy, where she was alone in the entire classroom every single day. Other than her grandfather, not many maids or servants tended to her either. More like, the workers at home seemed to be very reluctant to speak to her, so she stopped trying to converse with them to spend time. The only people whose names were always know to her, were the famous people who aired via media, her grandfather, some of the prominent researchers who had helped her on her never-ending journey to level 5, few of her classmates, and lastly, her parents. Remembering a random level 0 Aero Hand user was a new challenge to her. She had always prioritized remembering more about her studies, notes, abilities, laws of the world, etc.
"That said, J-u-n, how'd you like me to help you 'train' you anyway?" she asked, confirming if he had any prior plans. She folded her arms below her chest, her facial expression returned to her cool and collective type of smile.
The slow manner in which Ayane said Jun's name was odd. I get this feeling she's gonna forget my name again... At least she remembers me as a person. The slow progress was beginning to bother him, but he remained patient. He was sure that given more time, Ayane will warm up to him, and they could be friends. But, for today, she was his mentor. He took a long swig of a drink from one of the cans before responding.
"I wanted to learn to more easily control my power. My ability triggers randomly sometimes, and I was never able to actually activate it willingly until last night," Jun explained what he needed to improve on. "For now, the ejection points I create a gust of wind that's only strong enough to lift small, light objects, like this." He quickly finished the rest of the drink before setting it down on the armrest, then he placed his palm on the side of can, praying Please work... A moment later, the can was launched forward, landing roughly ten feet in front of it's starting point.
That impressed Jun himself. He's never successfully activated his ability it on his first attempt, and it usually doesn't have the velocity he had created this time. "Wow, that one was better than usual..." he said staring surprised in the direction of the empty can.
Ayane sighed. It was a long and audible sigh. "It's because of the fact that the low level students are either, satisfied with being at their current level; thinking that it's good enough, or their small improvements impresses them too much!" Ayane made an expression that rivaled that of a professional teacher's style. "Esper abilities can only be strong when the person thinks that he or she can become more stronger, or arrogantly thinks that they're strong. That's what influences their Personal Reality to adjust the way they think. This is just something I was taught in my special classes before I entered high school, though. You simply need to believe in yourself more, don't let small improvements get you impressed, then you'll have a hard time getting to a greater level."
She took a moment to clear her throat and continued, "I started out as a level 2, but I reached level 3 in the next System Scan after I became an esper, and then I reached level 4 through sheer confidence in myself. It took me an year to do it. This was considered relatively fast. Actually, it was too fast, perhaps. However, while there were people who expected me to become a level 5 just like that, they are still disappointed even as of now. Perhaps I didn't think hard enough that I am a strong person... " she looked down; heaving another sigh.
"So anyway, I think we'll have start back from the basics of the basics, Jun-kun. I've concluded that you need to get into better shape physically. So that means, more exercise! You should run laps in the field on your school. Or even build muscles. This can also help develop your confidence. If you become strong physically, there is a possibility that you'd get stronger mentally too, confidence is a strong factor to espers," this was definitely taught to her when she was young. It was taught in her special classes. However, Ayane didn't mentioned that she didn't went through the same thing, because she didn't had to. Ayane had to literally train only using her powers, as advised by the researchers, she also took drugs and many methods were used to make her power stronger, artificially. When she reached level 4, her power changed from normal Aero Hand to Tornado Hand; experiments were the result of her power. As such, she was a known candidate to level 5.
Although there is also the possiblity that Jun may think that he has it in him, but his subconscious mind could be refusing it. Ayane had to think of a better solution, but the solution she had given could work, for now at least.
Her words were blunt, but she was completely correct, that's what Jun felt. "Ever since I started practicing, it's true that I've been satisfied with relatively small achievements," Jun reflected on the slow prgoress of his training, as well. Over the course of several months, he learned to create small gusts of wind that launched empty cans a few feets away, sometimes. Before then, he would sit alone depressed, after System Scans whenever he was branded a level 0, with absolutely no powers.
Meanwhile, Ayane was able to increase her level within a year. From level 3 to level 4, on top of everything else. Jun was jealous of her, but used it as motivation. If she can do it, I can do it, too! he affirmed himself.
He took her words to heart. "Get stronger physically... alright!" It occured to Jun that he doesn't exercise often. He walks to and from school, and is moderately active during his late-night training, but never does any actual vigorous physical training. It would be a big change in his daily routine, but it'd be a change for the better.
"Thanks for the advice! I won't disappoint you, Ayane. I'll do my best and become a strong esper like you!" It would be a steep hill for Jun to climb, trying to match her, but he had already made his decision. I can only improve if I set my goals high, right? He would keep this in mind as he practices from here on out.
Ayane dropped her little teacher act and smiled. She felt a small bit of pride rise in her from the fact that she managed motivated Jun. "Mhm, that's the spirit. But don't overexert yourself, now. Remember, one step at a time, yes?", Ayane patted Jun again. To which he gave his response with a nod. He seemed really determined, he'd most likely spend the rest of his day doing lots of exercises, and hopefully not stay up late at night, she hoped. Ayane's phone then gave a sudden buzz with vibration. "Ahh... it seems like my time already out. Work calls, I need to go now, see you again, Jun."
Ayane waved her hand towards Jun as she walked off. Even her way of walking distinguished from that of normal girls. It had a feel of dignity and elegance in it. It was around 4:25pm. Ayane strolled across the pavement, her cell phone was put next to her right ear, "Yes, Misaki-san?"
((OOC: Jun's day ends with this post.))
While relieved that her accusation was simply a misunderstanding, Jun was still mildly wounded by Ayane's words. Being mistaken for a pervert was a blow to his self-esteem.
