Would a middle ground such as letting the people of each state vote on the legality of abortions in their states and leave the feds out of the decision making process be a good compromise? If Utah wants to ban abortions but, Nevada wants to allow them. We can solve the problem of people in Utah just driving across the line for an abortion. Make it a federal crime for a clinic to grant an abortion to a woman from a state that doesn't allow them. Though we run into the area of "right to privacy" if we made it so the doctor must list the patients who receives abortions and on what date.

This idea allows the states to maximize the freedom of choice while not forcing one sides views on the other. If you live in a state you disagree with, then move out and take your tax revenue with you.

An individual should make preparations ahead of time when they are sound of mind on what course of action they wish the doctors, family and whoever else involved should take. My friends and family all know that if I become incapable of living without a machine such as comatose or even severely brain damaged then they are to "pull the plug". This decision came after the debacle over the Terri Schaivo case of the family trying to prevent her feeding tube from being removed while her husband wanted it removed. All because her (Terri's) wishes were unable to be determined.

If a person makes adequate preparations ahead of time then I believe their wishes should be followed. Their body, their decision, nothing more. I see anybody who wishes to commit suicide because anything other than the highest degree of inability to function in society as nothing more than ultimately selfish and inconsiderate of the feelings of family and friends. Their death affects more than just the person dieing.

You should think long and hard on such a decision because, once they pull the plug that's it, lights out.

If you want to use the oldest definition of pedophile. It would be anybody who loves children and by love, I mean enjoys being around them, thinks children are the best thing in the world,etc. So technically, by the oldest definition teachers of younger children are pedophiles.

The definition has changed legally so a child molester=pedophile are legally interchangeable terms. Though, I don't see the point in trying to "reclaim" the label of pedophile as the stigma connected with it is like shouting "Ostracize me from society!". The only way for us to do anything of that nature is if we did the same thing as the guy in holic's original post. Currently there isn't a way for us to make a tag. Jacob needs to make the system so we can tag it and afterward we could all get the thing done in a under a week. Probably a day if everybody chipped in.

I'd volunteer to spend an hour or so when I can to tag a few. Though I would prefer the system have a very defined method of how to do it.
