ok well do u guys have a specific size? of course u do, but lets just say for the sake of argument waar is 7 inches in his pants right? well did u guys and girls know that he would actually have 10 inches!?! how is this possible? well every male has 1-3 inches of hidden penis in his body. so instead of viagra, do some work. what a surgeon will do is knock u out (with his fist to ur face since i worded it that way) and he will go into ur pelvic area, behind ur penis, cut the ligaments to release the extra inches, and u will go from bein 6, to 9. also it depends on how many inches u have hidden. u might only have 2 inches hidden, so it wouldnt go up too much. if u had 1 inche hidden, then i say f- it. but u could still get it if u wanted.Spoiler:
The only ways gays will ever have an effect on straight people is through shows like queer eye for the straight guy or things like drive-by redecorating.
The simplest way to put it is there is no reason beyond religious conviction to deny them the opportunity.
"Being gay is unnatural". Watch any group of animals and you'll see gay behavior (i.e. a male fucking another male).
"Same-sex couples aren't the optimum environment in which to raise children." And a household with a single parent is? At least with a gay couple even though they may be missing a balanced set of role models at least they have two incomes in the household to attend to the child's needs. Gay men tend to be better educated and have higher paying jobs than their heterosexual counterparts.
"Gay relationships are immoral." Says who? The bible? The Bible has absolutely no standing in American law, as was made clear by the intent of the First Amendment (and as was very explicitly stated by the founding fathers in their first treaty, the Treaty of Tripoli, in 1791). Any attempt to use a religious text as a base of law (or government action) is a violation of the separation of church and state.
"Same-sex marriage would start us down a "slippery slope" towards legalized incest, bestial marriage, polygamy and all kinds of other horrible consequences". A classic example of the reductio ad absurdum fallacy. A classic scare tactic - making the end scenario so scary and so horrible that the first step should never be taken. Such are the tactics of the fear and hatemongers. A form of gay marriage has been legal in Scandinavian countries for years. Why haven't they "slid" yet?
Honestly, unless you want use religion as law then you break the law by doing that. There is no reason against gay marriage.

I guess the point is, I haven't seen a good explanation of why the government revenue will stay at the same level while everyone pays less money in taxes. Sometimes, such explanations do exist, such as the powerful concept of comparative advantage for free trade, but until someone gives me a fundamental explanation beyond "saving from waste" and "growing the economy" or provides very compelling data about measurably modeled economic growth and advocates a very conservative approach, I'm suspicious. You've said it before: there's no such thing as a free lunch. In order for the claims fairtax advocates make to be entirely true, the system would have to somehow create wealth. If people pay less taxes, percentage-wise compared to wealth, but the government has the same tax revenue, then where does the missing money come from? Unless the government has some new revenue source or everyone gains more wealth so that the lower percentage of tax still produces the same revenue, I don't see how it would happen. That's what I'm skeptical about.
I'll gather more data (I'm tired now so I'm lazy). In the mean time the best way I can explain it is the expansion of the tax base. You are collecting smaller amounts of taxes from a broader spectrum of areas instead of the narrow income tax.
A good argument for a National Sales tax was that the U.S. Government originally intended to implement it instead of the Income tax but, due to the war the government felt that the income tax would be a quicker method to acquire money since back then you wrote a check to the government every year. They felt that taking the money before we had a chance to see it was a "more efficient manner". Since the first use of the income tax it has become more cluttered and twisted with legalese that the average person at the IRS can't even completely understand the tax code. Mistakes are common where the IRS thinks you owe it more money than you do.

That still reads like a list of campaign talking points?Who did what model to determine that 23% national retail tax would generate enough revenue? Have these findings been consistently confirmed? I'm not saying it wouldn't, but I'm curious to see the economic work done on this.
The Beacon Hill Institute if I remember correctly. Research was also done by a few other sources. I'll look them up and post them when I can.
There would be a new tax code, less complicated hopefully, but fairtax already allows for all sorts of exceptions. Then do you get any sort of tax breaks for charity? The legality of tax credits on certain items? Plus, various interest groups would lobby for loopholes on consideration of what is taxable and not taxable. It would soon become a mess again anyways.
The tax code could be rewritten to less than ten pages. Compared to what we have now.
You still have to force people to comply, police retail transactions, make sure people are selling what they claim to sell and not something else, cracking down on people trying to sell off the books to evade taxes, etc.
A cop can walk into a store. If it became a problem a small group could be charged with a task to maintain legality.
That's because the state taxes sales and the feds tax income. With a national sales tax, presumably state sales tax would just be tacked on top of that, states have to get revenue somehow.
Paying 30% extra on every taxable dollar spent isn't that big of a deal. Canada has a 15% sales tax on top of their income tax. They seem to be doing fine.Ethics and labor costs will still make this happen. They are a much bigger motivation for outsourcing.
Even so, if costs are higher in another country (income tax, payroll, etc) then they will seek the area of lowest taxation/cost. Ethics and labor costs are the responsibility of Americans. This isn't a magical cure all for the problems we have. Shit will happen under any system.
And the purchasing power of the money is reduced because prices are higher. How much did your real wealth, measured in the goods you can afford, change?
Purchasing power doesn't decrease at all. The value of money would remain the same consider that under this system you get all of your money at the same value as the currently 2/3rds. Prices also don't increase since companies are saving money by the reduction in all the hidden taxes that are passed onto you. Prices will come down on most goods. Expensive items like cars may see a price increase.
Thus creating a complex situation requiring government regulation so that people don't cheat and sell new cars as used cars, etc.
Hardly complex plus a little regulation is good for any industry.
So isn't the federal government getting less money?
Under the current system companies pay sales tax on the state level. The federal government never gets a penny from this point anyways. A better question would have been "So aren't the states getting less money?"
Isn't that the point of tariffs? They didn't work out so well.
I don't see where you came to the idea of tariffs. They won't pay taxes either but, the cost of shipping the goods here will gives us an advantage. The build up of various costs over seas will outweigh the advantage they have under the current system. Simply put, Make jobs expensive here and they will leave. Make jobs cheap here jobs will come. They don't now? Stuff is a lot cheaper here, all the Europeans I know buy as much crap as they can get away with bringing back.
They'll help more. Cost might go up a little bit but, the chances are equally as good that prices will go down when companies save all the little increments of money. It seems like a bit of a leap of faith. I'd like to see some work on the models, small scale implementations, case studies, and such before taking the plunge.
When politicians fight tooth and nail to keep it from gaining any ground due to their fear they will lose a gigantic vote grabbing option. Even small scale implications would be difficult to come by. Politicians just don't want to give up their control.

I can sympathize/agree (can't find the exact word to describe it) with Hibia. I only disagree with him on the notion that vegetarians are quietly living among us and only the radicals are out there screaming that meat is murder. With the exception of him the other twenty or so vegans and vegetarians I have met all end up screaming the same rhetoric to me to the point I feel like killing a cow with no intention to eat the damn thing.
It all boils down to preference as long as both sides shut up and we keep the loud mouths quiet I believe we will all get along just nicely.

23% National Retail Sales tax was the amount found to generate roughly the same amount of money the Government recieves from the current system. Under the current system there are
1. 67,500 pages of tax code.
2. $265 billion spent yearly in tax code filing and compliance.
3. Government takes 1/3rd of your paycheck before you ever see the check itself.
4. You get taxed on every dollar you spend as well as every dollar you earn. (Your house, you car, food, etc)
5. Hurts students (especially poor students) Since Tuition is federally taxed.
6. Currently, harms production and manufacturing since every company pays payroll taxes and taxes on every nut, screw and bolt they buy. Those costs are passed onto the consumer.
7. Foreign companies pay no taxes on goods that enter into America. Thus giving foreign countries an advantage over
American producers who have to pay payroll and income taxes which raises the cost of business.
8. Encourages companies to move overseas to reduce the cost of business while leaving people jobless here.
9. Taxes are paid on social security benefits which hurts senior citizens.
10. Hurts students who pay income taxes on their part time jobs while attending school (they don't earn much to begin with)
11. You get taxed for dieing. If you can't pay that tax then your next of kin are forced to.
12. You pay taxes on any kind of investment (stocks,I.R.A.,etc)
The fair tax system would
1. Eliminate the 67,500 pages of tax code
2. Save the Government the money and resources spent on maintaing the current system.
3. You keep your entire paycheck (look at your paycheck think what you could do with all that extra money each week)
4. You only get taxed at the point of sale for new items. The fairtax removes taxation on used items such as used homes and cars
5. The government gives you a check every month equal to the amount of taxes you would spend on necessary items up to the poverty level thus elimination basically 90% of your tax burden if you are middle class and eliminating the entire tax burden on the poor. The rich don't care because they are rich to begin with.
6. Students recieve an untaxed education so Tuition and other systems are easier on poor families.
7. Companies save money by eliminating the income tax, payroll tax and various other taxes they pay on every item as part of production. Everything from equipment to parts to build your counch. They currently pay taxes on and that cost is passed to the consumer.
8. Foreign and Domestic companies pay the same tax on the same goods. The only taxes Domestic companies pay would be eliminated thus giving domestic companies the advantage thus keeping jobs in America.
9. Untaxes social security benefits for seniors thus saving them money to be invested again.
10. The poor, students, etc don't pay taxes (Income, Fica Medicare) on their wages. Thus the money can be spent where it needs to go.
11. You don't get taxed on inheriting or giving anything.
12. You don't get taxed for dieing.
13. The people who don't pay income tax (illegal immigrants, people "paid under the table") have to pay taxes when they buy something.
14. Tourists help pay into our economy by spending money while they are here.
15) Helps small businesses by removing their primary burden (remember 70% of U.S. Economy is small business)
16). Removes your investments from taxation thus netting you more money.
All of this is just by sweeping away the taxes that clutter up the system. None of these need to be explained beyond the common sense notion of 1+1=2. We save the government money and increase the funding a little by expanding the taxation base. No increased burden on Low and Middle class families. Gives the low and middle class families better chances to invest for retirement or for their own well being. Politicians can't muck up the system with political motivations since if they raise the tax then they have to sign a bigger check to each of us every month.
It's not an economic panacea. It's just a smarter way of doing things. The current system is just outdated and politically motivated.

On another note, Hispanics are criminals? Other than the ones that hop the border, I think that statement is a little too stereotypical. The majority of them hopped the boarder. Their children in my opinion aren't Americans so they should be deported right along with their parents. Millions want to enter America but, they do it the legit way. Those motherfuckers think the law doesn't apply to them so they can do whatever the fuck the want. With Millions wanting in the legit way we have millions of criminals that just hop the boarder and whole networks to get them scattered so they are hard to track down.
Stereotypical it may be but, the numbers back it up. The majority of Hispanics in America are criminals and break the law everyday by remaining in this country.
Those that shelter them (churches, family, etc) I consider to be criminals as well. Any other crime you would be arrested by association so I extend that to illegal immigrants and those that help them.

I got my respect for the Caucasian people, and even so, they still dominate over 60% percent of the U.S. population, which I think overreactions of xenophobia is at times silly.I heard estimations that by 2020 or 2040 that Caucasians will become the minority to Hispanics. I'm not exactly "thrilled" by the fact that one of my races will become second to a bunch of criminals that operate outside the law.
