Swimming overall is great for the body... but then we consider public access, convenience, and pool fees/expenses, swimming might not be too practical for the frugal.
I don't have the game, so I wouldn't know how to play as the Infected. I'm assuming that once you attack, you keep attacking. That'd be cheap if you just leap from member to member and knock them all them down in succession like that.
@Ryuji: Finally some suggestions/feedback. I’d just like you to know that I highly respect you, Ryuji, because your opinions are rational and well thought out, and I often times I find myself thinking along the same track as you. (e.g. I always wanted a quick reply function on this site as did you… but I guess that’s been put on the backburner.)
Well, regarding the first suggestion, I totally understand your opinion (a & b) because I know that these guys aren’t the types to listen or read carefully or whatnot. Rather than a solution, it’s more of a countermeasure than actually solving anything. It’s really for those who honestly made mistakes and use that to reform their netiquette conduct on the net. Also, it provides FAKKU staff the legality to ban/warn/punish noobs who break the rules since they are clearly written where people can see it and signed to it. In that sense, noobs who then bitch at it have no right to complain since it was clearly written before joining as a member, and as a member the rules are there everyday out in the open for easy reference. Anything to the contrary are just excuses. And I hate divulging more information, but this PM convo I had with this noob I keep referring to is just a prime example of what consists of excuses. This is what he/she wrote: “…so what if I'm new to the site, and yeah I don't read the rules. there are always so many of them, and I know I wouldn't remember them even if I did read them. so don't go off being mean right off…” verbatim. Anyone who provides this sort of shit after asking why punitive measures have been taken against him/her will get a huge laugh in the face and a link to the forum rules. When I read the PM response, I laughed then raged right after - I don’t read the rules? There’s too many of them? I wouldn’t remember the rules even if I read them? Don’t fuck with me because those are just excuses.
Your next opinion regarding your two options I totally agree with. It’s true that there isn’t enough manpower on this site, and this problem has been stated before, but like you said, in light of recent times, we really need that manpower with modding capabilities; these were problems that existed even before Motemote took off this year. When I rejoined the community a month and a half ago, I was already seeing things like this happen. Within weeks, said noob behavior just grew and grew until now it's almost on a day to day basis. As far as I can see, it’s the only real solution, but that has to come from the admin’s decision, though I know Jacob isn’t to keen on modding and heavyhandness… but I don’t see any other way that can effectively deal with this. I know for forums with a member base of over 10000 members, mods are a must, and it almost acts like a mod for every 10000 members exist. Even if we only have an average of 40 active users at any time present, it’s that other 88400 members that are ruining for others.
I was unaware of an attempt to initiate a post count, just that when I woke up the next day, the forums were closed due to spamming. Well, it still works for other forums… but like I said, this is one measure I don’t want to see implemented because it’s heavyhanded, but it’s getting out of hand. If they want it, they have to earn it, leastwise that's the principle behind a post count. (And therefore learning the ropes of online etiquette.)
I try to enjoy FAKKU as much as redirecting noobs and ignoring some of them, but this PM sent to me broke the camel’s hump. That made me snap, and I assuming any rule-abiding user would too. At first I thought it was a troll because I've never heard of said user, but then I looked at his/her only single post, and bam!, a request.
Dude, Cromartie High School was the funniest shit ever. +rep when I can for digging out a great reference.

Request Section - Definitely NOT, it's gotta be a trap.lmfao, omg that made me laugh.
I have one thing to add about the request section and double posting in it, I don't think it needs to be modded? I mean it's basically empty requests, unless users feel like answering them, other than that nothing happens.
@animeholic1: haha, that made me laugh.
@theotaku: the problem isn't that we don't honor the requests, the problem is that these noobs are taking advantage of the forum system and rules and lax policing. Because our admins are busy all the time, and the moderators aren't always here 24/7, these noobs just walk into FAKKU and decide that they post a request with their first f'ing post. And then posting it in the wrong section, or sections. I don't understand what goes on in these noobs' heads when they post.
And for reference, the person that PM'ed me saying, "you're a dick" (verbatim) was, wait for it, wait for it, wait for it...

Yea. A first-post-is-a-request user.
I've had enough. And here's a nice pic to go along with what I feel about this situation currently:

Followed by mad rage.
I'm looking moreso for what we can do about this situation and if what I suggested earlier would be enough or too much or not enough.
edit: I've also noticed that the meet&greet section and the Incoherent Babbling section were moved under Random as subsections - any news as to why?
I've lost 25 lbs, HAH! That's through working out/excercising and controlling my diet with appetite suppressant pills and cutting down calories and increasing lean protein. I started doing this around mid August. Goal is to lose a total of 40 lbs before the spring semester. (And hopefully another 10-20lbs at this rate.)

So are you only going to one of the two? I would recommend doing distance running/jogging and sprints in between. Just keep a good pace, throw in some sprints, and jog back at your comfortable pace to catch your breath. But honostly it all depends on what your doing it for. If you want to lose weight or trim up, long distance would definitely be best. If you want to have more strength in your legs, do sprints. Put them both together and you have a nice workout.
Not bad at all. Hair could use some more detail and the arms are a little funny looking, but alright. I ususally don't color my stuff because it takes too long and I'm a pencil user than anything else. (See my pic thread that's somewhere buried in the art forum section.) I color my sketches by shading with various grades of pencil, most with just one type. And I don't photoshop... too much effort to learn.
Keep these pics coming guys, they're just fucking awesome!
Dude, +rep for awesome bondage gundam girl pic.

@Klorofolun: like the Smoker, you can melee the person (well, the hunter) and the person'll be free. Proceed to shoot hunter as that might not kill it.
I didn't think it would come down to this, but it's getting to the point where it's unreasonable and ludicrous.
Look, quite frankly I'm tired of seeing noobs coming into FAKKU and disrupting the community with their zero sense of netiquette. Yeah, we were all noobs at one point, but I'm just flabbergasted at the amount of noobs that waltz in here, and the idiocy and brazeness of some! Even I never started off this bad! I've been on the forums for only 6 months, (with a month and a half of nonactivity) but it's come to a point where almost not a day passes by where a noob posts something in the wrong section or posts something flat out wrong. The most common thing I see is this:
1. Users post in the Request section without:
a) searching the site
b) searching the forums
2. Users post requests in the wrong section also without:
a) searching the site
b) searching the forums
3) Users post MULTIPLE requests in different sections also without:
a) searching the site
b) searching the forums
4. Users posts requests where PREVIOUS requests already exist.
*note - said users will only have few posts before requesting, and have the balls to post a request on their first post.
And to top off the cake, this new icing drove the last nail in the coffin. I received a PM from a person who said I was being a dick. I won't mention which thread, but this is what I wrote in the thread that prompted the PM: "Try the request section. Mods, move this thread please." Word for word verbatim, that's what I wrote, and the user had the gall to say I was being a dick when he/she violated forum common sense and rules?!
This has got to stop, if not now, then within the near future because I'm getting sick of dealing with these kind of users, especially when I'm trying to be polite when first responding. (The urge to write swear words as I type is very strong, I tell you.) I have some suggestions that I feel that FAKKU should implement:
1. We need a new page of Rules and FAQs. The current system has rules and FAQs scattered all over the forum within topics as stickies - this is not sufficient nor efficient enough. I'm suggesting that a section be composed dedicated solely to rules and FAQs where no user upon first glance of the forum can miss it. Either that, or we can put FAKKU Rules and FAQs as a main tab underneath the banner. And maybe as part of user registration, there ought to be a shrink-wrap clickon agreement expressly stating the terms, rules, FAQs, and conduct one must follow to enter FAKKU.
2. The Rules and FAQs not only should cover the current rules to date, but also explain & list Netiquette guidelines because apparently many users lack this. Also, referring to the requests, we need to make it clear that if anyone wants to request something, it must go into the Request section, no questions asked. It's common sense, but I see users breaking this rule almost everyday.
3. This suggestion of mine is somewhat more heavyhanded. I'm suggesting that if anyone wants to request something or look into the User Uploads section, a post count should be implemented. I see laziness in many new members because they don't search and they post requests in the wrong place(s). Post count is to be determined by staff. This is something I'd rather not see at FAKKU do, but the current situation is beginning to call for desperate measures. We can also use a warning/suspension rule (first offense = warning, 2nd offense = account suspension, 3-5 offenses = user ban), but this is too heavyhanded so I'm just throwing it out there to swill.
Opinions, suggestions, comments, criticisms are welcome. This is a real problem and something that's beginning to get out of hand. All and any input would be appreciated.

The only thing that eases my conscience is that I'll stil vote for the girls I like, it's just bracket-wise, it'll be tough, reeeal tough for the girls I like to win.
Maid Guy from Kamen no Maid Guy. The guy can do everything... and is a beast. 37 senses, damn I'd like that, plus the ability to levitate and never weigh a single pound, ha!
Use the Request section next time.

I was hoping to post this thought of mine somewhere without having to make a complete inane thread in the motemote section.
Like others, I'm sure we all have our favorite girls, but chances are that they won't win, depending on who they are. My favorite girl of the entire contest is Haruna from To-LoveRu, but like kaimax said, if we analyze it, Haruna has a slim chance of winning against a well known popular character Tomoyo from the super hit series Clannad created by Key and produced by the awesome KyoAni. Yeah. It hurts to put down a character in the bracket by winning probability rather than personal perference. (I'm sorry Haruna... *sobs*, you just ain't gonna win, honey.)
