Gambler Posts
We are still working hard to get the site back to 100% working. But since we are not quite there yet, why not talk about the upcoming summer 2010 anime season?
Without further ado, I have attached the anime chart for Summer 2010. All credit must go to the blogger(s) at chartfag.wordpress.com. S/he or they make an effort to come up with these anime preview images every season, for the benefit of everyone.
Which titles are you looking forward to in Summer 2010?

It appears that another duplicate thread has been accidentally created.
To prevent confusion among users as to which thread they should reply to, I am locking this particular one, since it has less posts.

I am sorry I had to lock this thread as it appears to be a repeat. I am quite sure it wasn't done on purpose, but nonetheless, it has to be locked so that users on Fakku won't be confused and know which one to reply to.
I apologize for the inconvenience caused.

It appears that some users are upset at being insulted. To tell the truth, I have no idea whether you people are joking or not, but to be on safe side, I am locking this thread.

Kaimax wrote...
RECLAIM WEEK - reclaims only.games will start when waar announces it. who said that the rule changes...
this thread should be locked to evade "wrong ideas"
I am taking Kaimax's word for it. Thus this thread is locked temporarily unless Waar decides otherwise.
Edit: Hmm... I did not realize that my Mod powers don't work in the chat topics and forum games section. Time to talk to Jacob and Matt about it. ^_^;;
I see that you are a big Atletico Madrid fan.
Personally, Barcelona is one of the teams I fancy due to the beautiful football that they play. However, I wouldn't call myself a supporter. If I am not wrong, Atletico Madrid is the only team to beat them in the La Liga this season, am I right?
Diego Forlan is also one of the strikers I admire. He did not do very well in the English Premier League many years back, but upon moving to Spain, he has proven his critics wrong.

If I am not wrong, you could always write to Play-Asia enquiring about what happened. Alternatively, you could also check with the mail delivery service.
Not only did you pay for the figure, you also paid for shipping so some decent service is expected. However, I have never bought from Play-Asia so my advice may not entirely relevant.

I am sorry I had to lock this thread as said topic has already been brought up many times. Of course, I would like to merge this thread with the other discussions already in existence, but unfortunately, the merge function is still down.
Based on the search I did, here are some other similar, if not identical, threads:

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Furthermore, please do not let my actions discourage you from coming up with new threads in future. Fakku encourages creativity. Just remember to do a search before doing so.

Has it already been a year? Hmm...
In any case, Shinobu Maehara from Love Hina will continue to be mai waifu. In other words, I am reclaiming her, though I don't really like to use this particular term.

Lesson Learned: Time flies by quickly when one is having fun. :eng101:
May you enjoy many more anniversaries on Fakku in the years to come!

Congratulations to Gurumao for reaching the Elder status, and maybe more, according to the hint given by Nashrakh!
I believe I have lost count of how many Elder members there are on Fakku. Furthermore, I doubt I know some of them.

I did not exactly read through the entire article. However, what worries me is not the shutting down of Limewire; when the authorities score such a victory, they have a tendency to think along the following lines:
"Hey, now that we have forced Limewire to end their filesharing activities, let us move on the bigger fishes."
Perhaps I am just being paranoid...

Due to my busy work schedule last year, I forgot all about Nodoka's birthday. As such, I made an effort to remember mai 2nd waifu's birthday this year.
Happy 22nd Birthday Nodoka! May all your dreams and wishes come true on this very special day!
Here are some images of my beautiful waifu which I would like to share with everyone!

Enjoy your day Nodoka!

A couple of users suggested that this thread should belong to the nosebleed section. Thus, I am moving it there.

After reading through this thread, my main concern is that the level of trust between the general community and that of the various moderators have fallen, which I think is unhealthy. For Fakku to thrive, communication and trust is two of the most important factors.
Personally, I would like to think that all the staff members are doing their jobs properly. However, we should also be more open with our actions. Although an auto PM system is already in place, it lacks that personal touch. Back in those days where I could log on daily for hours, I will usually write to a user explaining why his/her thread got moved, deleted, locked, etc. I admit it is tedious and I wasn't able to do so for every action I took, but at least the general user can understand why we did so. Maybe such a trend can be encouraged among the staff, not only for the person whose thread or post got affected; even the user who made a report, especially in the event where we choose not to do anything about the report.
Nonetheless, the general community has the right to complain about the Moderators too, especially if they believe that they are abusing their authority. Past contributions may count for nothing if the Moderator or Admin has done a great wrong. Imagine a day where Gambler suddenly logs on and started insulting various users in crude language or deleting posts for fun... no one will want myself to remain on the staff team.
Unfortunately, I have to cut my post short since I need to head to work. In summary, we need to rebuild the level of trust and also increase communication.

Usually, I would merge similar, if not identical, topics together. However, since the merge function is currently not functioning, I have no choice but to lock this thread and direct everyone else to the following thread, which was created at an earlier date:
