The number of companies that localize anime and manga outside of Japan has certainly declined.
The only major name that seems to make it these days is Funimation, sadly allowing the market to be filled with mediocre titles in order to make a buck.

I fyou are too busy to run a blog (or don't want all the features) I suppose it's a nice way to get yourself out there and keep in touch. Celebs seem to like this functionality.
That, or stores/sites can have it be their RSS feed of new updates or product info. Fakku's Twitter feed tells you when new manga are posted, if you subscribe to it or follow them. :)

We have a tag system, but it is a lot of work for only a few people who are responsible for tagging all of the manga that gets uploaded to Fakku. Rather, it would be more productive to volunteer your time to tagging so not all of the work has to fall on the shoulders of a few people. Yep. We have a team working on it.

But I'd be fine with people to use either name with me in casual terms or in public. I just feel my name is important to me, and shows I haven't been completely transformed into someone else just via marriage into their line.
