Learned a lot about in-house relations at work after listening in on a discussion about where people would prefer each other to go when the new Store opens in the Town Centre (we apparently get the choice of staying in the Outlet or going to the Town).
It seems I'm not the only one who finds my boss intimidating. And she apparently has slagged off the person she most openly talks to.

Running on 4 hours sleep so my social graces today were worse than usual. Barely spoke a word to anyone at work mostly because I had no idea what to say, and when I did get social with someone I hung around them like a creep.
Why did someone from Head Office have to come down today of all days.

- You don't get penalised for having a gigantic negrep total or rewarded for having a large plusrep total. It's just there.
- The only place where your comments get hidden for having so many Downvotes are Manga comments. But they don't get removed, you can still view them.

I abruptly woke up this morning at 5 to 10 suddenly paranoid I had to be in at work at 10. I knew wasn't in until 2, but the paranoia continued right around to half 1, when I left. It got so bad I had to keep a copy of the rota on me all day until I left for work.
