People whining to me about Game of Thrones spoilers.

I would understand if I fully explained the circumstances behind the deaths, but I didn't. And it really should not be a surprise that people die regardless of popularity.

• When I got home from work I checked the spot under my arm to see how it was (it'd come up the past few days and it got really angry. Washing it and having hot baths seemed to just make it worse).
  
  Pressed it against my rib with my fingers to either side of the spot, and it burst. Flow of hot dark red blood streamed out. The relief was indescribable, but amazing.

My male friend is a feminist. Make any gender-specific statements or jokes and he will piss all over your bonfire. Though he is one of my closest friends and a majority of the time he's easygoing.

Most recent example was when I referred to the new Thor in the Marvel comics as "femme-Thor". Boy he didn't like that. "No it's just Thor. It's sexist to refer to her by her gender" or something along those lines.

I told him that it wasn't sexist to use gender to differentiate between the male Thor we're all used to, and the new female one. Otherwise to talk about the new Thor and thinking he's talking about the male one would be fucking confusing. What would have been sexist is if I said that Mjolnir should've transformed into a frying pan.

I didn't really learn anything but the girl I volunteer at the charity shop with posed me the question "How long are we going to be doing this? When's the cutoff point?" (referring to the eventuality that we would quit the volunteering gig).

At the time I didn't know how to respond since I never really considered it, but it's made me think. If we did quit I'd still want to see her since she's part of the reason I go. I normally hate people, but in the year and a half I've known her I've grown fond of her.

In the words of Pokemon 'Bridged Brock: "(S)he's so funny, if (s)he were to go away, I'd wanna see him (her) again, and again, and again!"

If it was removed it's because it was unlicensed. Jacob wants to go legit. Or at least, as legit as humanly possible.

It sucks but it's the byproduct of achieving his ultimate goal.

A change in the system everyone is used to brings out the worst in them.

Always sad when someone dies regardless of their social status or fame.

Constant posts from a girl I know on Facebook suffering from "I am an adult" syndrome. She keeps posting about how grown up she is and writes every little thing as if it was a personal accomplishment.

She's 17 and in the few times I've been around her, I've gotten the impression that she thinks she knows everything. When she volunteered at the charity shop I volunteer at she kept giving myself and my till buddy advice, despite her only being there for 3 weeks and us being there a year and a half. But she kept doodling on the tables and stamping us with ink. She's fallen out with her family twice and moved 4 times in the last year alone.


Hopefully she'll grow out of it.
