During school I once got rugby tackled too low and they tore a ligament in my knee. The day it happened I could walk on it fine at first, was just swollen as you could imagine. But over the course of the day it grew increasingly more difficult to walk. The pain that night reduced me to tears.

Went to the hospital and they gave me a knee brace.

It apparently wasn't bad enough to skip school so rather than traverse 2 flights of stairs each lesson, I used the school lift. Though one time a carer and her disabled fat kid in a wheelchair caught me and she chewed me out for it. Apparently being in visible pain when walking wasn't a good enough reason, yet being morbidly obese was.

It took 5 years to fully heal. By which I mean stop randomly dislocating. Bending my leg forwards to pop my kneecap back in and being sore for 20 minutes afterwards wasn't great, especially as it once happened whilst I was crossing a busy road.

This is like trying to think of a new colour.

The other day I clambered into the Store Window because someone wanted a £65 vintage record player/cd player/radio/bluetooth-enabled thingymajig. I got it out the box to show them what it was like then had real trouble getting it back in, so rather than give them the box and item seperately I gave them the one already packaged.

I come into work 4 days later to see the same item had been dumped out the back with the label "Faulty" on it. Obviously had been returned or exchanged for the one they wanted originally. Died a little inside, felt so bad. Of course I couldn't have known it was faulty but, still feel bad.

Might be why I have to set it to Composite to record anything (Should've mentioned that sooner. I should not post when tired, forget details)

I've been using a SCART lead for my PS3 but switch to HDMI when the recording box I have for it is plugged in. When a game refused to work with the recording box plugged in I had to go through the complicated process of switching back to SCART. And SCART is arse quality. Found out today I can just take the HDMI cable and plug the PS3 into the TV directly and just keep it in HDMI. I've never seen GTA V PS3 Edition look so clear.

Now that I think about it I'm not sure how I didn't figure it out sooner. Always heard PS3s couldn't use HDMI yet mine had the option for it, and I thought the box made it capable of using HDMI since my PS3 plugs into it, and it plugs into the TV.

Funny thing is, a majority of the complaints go exactly like this.

We tried figuring this one out last time FakkuVerse was up, but I think we just all came to assume that it was a Red Herring.

This'll be a little off topic but everything you've said here hits close to home in merry ol' England. We're getting the same problems.

Only our Government has already actively cut welfare for the disabled and last I heard Ian Duncan Smith was getting investigated for breaching human rights after many disabled claimants deemed Fit For Work could no longer support themselves financially and commited suicide or died from their illnesses because they could no longer afford to look after themselves. The rest actively cut public services to make up deficit rather than investing in growth. We apparently have enough money to supply luxury airliners for our politicians, foot the bill for a monarchy which has no real use, and enough in the defense budget to bomb Syria, but not enough to take care of our poorest or take steps to make sure the rich pay what they owe in taxes. They've even tried to introduce laws to silence naysayers.

Then there's the ongoing concerns of privatising the NHS; no longer being free for all being the biggest concern.

Oh, I hadn't thought of that.

Ninja Loot achievement is unobtainable once you get high-end gear. Trying to pick up lower-tier loot doesn't satisfy the requirements.

Mine were there the other day whether I could read them or not but now it's been completely wiped of everything that isn't licensed (which was almost all of it).

I feel as if this is an omen as to how 2016 is going to go for me.

The fucker ignored my cancellation request (after 4 days of it hanging in limbo) and dispatched it. This and lending a friend some money means it's been an expensive month already. I did originally want it (and kinda still do) so I hope it at least turns up in good nick. If not I'll be having words.


Also, you know when you randomly remember something insignificant and feel bad about it? Happened to me just now while playing with the cat.

I charged my manager for a 5p bag when she bought things the other day. That's it.
We normally don't bother charging each other for bags as an "unofficial" perk of working there but I suddenly remembered it and felt bad.

Just another day for me. I'm also working New Year's Day so not staying up too late either.

Don't see the point of New Year's resolutions. Why wait until the end of a 365-and-a-quarter-day cycle to change yourself?

Going fully legit is means to an end. If you don't like it, that's fine. There are other websites. Google is a wonderful thing.

Can understand your frustrations since what we previously got for free is no longer around. But it's a small price to pay for tapping into a market that was previously exclusive to Japan.
