I'm currently trying out drawing girls using references ....

Anyone knows a program that can "stay on top" picture viewer on top of programs? Something like a built-in window image viewer but with a stay on top feature so that I don't have to "alt-tab" during a sketch ... I'm currently using Acdsee and alt tabbing lol .....

Edit: O.O I just saw a Freeware for it lol ... " Irfanview " it has a nice stay on top feature .... so I guess this is resolved but you guys can post other programs similar to this one ... I'll go and give it a test =)
after a long break I sketched something .....

dunno, it doesnt work, the copy/paste, i tried it before, unless im doing it wrong, i just ctrl+p the scanned work and ctrl+p on tthe background, doesnt seem to work >_<?

Umm, Maybe because you ctrl+p both of them .....
ctrl+a (select all picture)
ctrl+c (copy the selected picture)
ctrl+p (pastes the selected picture ... I think this will automatically create a new layer )

Be sure to make the added layer into a "Multiply one" or just use "Normal" and erase manually the excess lines ....
Females ... cuz they're so curvy and needs proper proportions to make them sexy lol .....
Open Scanned Picture ( 1 Canvas ) .... Open the Background ( another canvas ) ... now you have two working canvas ....

Either ctrl+a the scanned picture -> go to the Background Canvas then add another layer then paste the scanned picture there .... or the other way around

how do i add background on SAI,
i mean, e.g. i made a lineart of a human and wanted to add some background on it, and the background i wanted is just google'd how do i merge this >_<?

Hmm ... Open the background picture you want in a new layer ... create a new layer ( while lowering the opacity of the background layer ) when you finish with your lineart then change the opacity of the background layer to 100% and erase away that will overlap with your lineart ....

Or ....

create a new layer .... draw what you want then import picture into a new layer ( below the layer you've drawn .... then erase away anything that overlaps ....
Edit: I can't see any import so might as well open the background in a new canvas then copy paste it to the canvas you're working on ....

This are just some basic copy paste / erase procedures so if anyone has better ones then feel free to add XD
Hypnotizing dancer lol XD
I think you'd better start off with what you're comfortable with ( genre wise ) XD and let us take a peek at your animations =)

It usually happens when you get bored of the subject matter, try mixing it up and drawing other things. Or look at other works of art to inspire yourself. Inspiration often comes from viewing other works of art.

Hmm, I guess you're right ... I felt really tired and really bored when I look at my tablet >.< .... things that help me motivate to draw is reading Manga/Manhwa ... reading those How to draw anatomy books kinda messed my drawing pleasure .... guess I'll just doodle at my own pace for now ....
The way you draw the body is the same as mine ( although I'm starting to change that XD ) ... the head I always start with the oval with the + sign .... I think it's great that you're starting to be more specific with your proportions ... like following the rules where the joints are and where the flesh is supposed to be thich and thin or curvy ....

Keep on doing them XD and try to use line/cross hatching as replacement for shadows
Nice work on the horse tshirt XD

I'm going to drop my pen tablet and let it rest inside the drawer for a while (actually it got stashed since June) ... kinda thinking of totally stopping to draw cuz nothing seem interesting anymore >.< guess this is what they call an art block or something similar to that ....

Edit: Picked up the dusty pen tablet once again ....
