I noticed it myself. After just clicking on a single page of Cuvie's latest release and clicking back to the chapter page via the reader I'm logged out.

Lets do it

only preorder being Deep blue static

If any of those stock books are on the same order with the Deep Blue Static preorder, then according the Fakku Store terms page:

It should also be noted that if additional items are purchased with a pre-ordered item, and those items are in stock, they will not be sent out until all items of the order are on hand.

Once Deep Blue Static releases and ships then they all ship if that's the case.

A physical english version will truly be a collectible I could support. Happy to support Illusion and many thanks for bringing this game over!

... It's just a back and forth process. Some books are great and we have little trouble with, and some other books just like to be troublemakers and you gotta fuss with it for a while before it gets to be just right.

I certainly appreciate the deluxe feel of Fakku releases, and this is one part of that. Thanks for the extra effort!

Just curious, it sounds like it is more complex then just sending a pdf for them to print? Or are you actually modifying the colors in the document?

With Wani specifically (and I'm sure all the other publishers too) after the artist gives them their artwork, they take the files and prepress them to increase the color quality to make sure it comes through well in print. We 99% get those files which makes it easier (School Love Net being the exception), however with different printing machines, different ink densities, sometimes we get a surprise that the outcome isn't what we thought it'd be. Print houses often offer services like prepressing (which Wani also sends out of house) so if files are not coming out correctly, we'll provide our open files for them to manually go in an adjust. Regardless it would either require us to adjust the file or the printer, and sometimes we want a different type of ink as well. The printer is more experienced in knowing how to most easily solve the color issue, so they often handle the adjustments for us.

With Whispers After Class, the first colored chapter was giving us the hardest time, since for some reason we weren't getting that really warm yellow sunlit effect with the colors. The other issue throughout the colors were that the shadows on skin were too brown and the skin too pale. So we want it to be softer and have more of a pink hue

The insight into the intricacies of printing are pretty neat and you don't usually hear this from "mainstream" publishers. I remember a post short post showing how you add a red hue to make the colors "pop." Anyway, the rather detailed response to fuel my patience is much appreciated, I know the end product will be worth it.

Awesome, can't wait to preorder already!

Ultramarine -> Deep Blue... is it something to convey the color of the sea, reminiscent of the beached tanned girl on the cover? Just wondering, since- consequently, the word "cerulean" comes to mind.

Would be cool, but I wouldn't hold my breath that Fakku will release anything what looks remotely like dark content.

I won't deny that a majority of FAKKU content is vanilla and perhaps that's the demographic of the source material.

But I would not entirely discount a Fan no Hitori book getting a localization. Afterall, we did get a dark release like Metamorphosis.

I would love to get a FnH book since I like the art style among other things.

I like the idea of a Mating With Oni book. I'm glad to hear that Shindou took our feedback well enough to continue the series.

If there will be a book/collection consider me a preorder already!

It doesn't play at all on my tablet, the movie window just goes blank. On my PC (Win 10 64-bit home edition) the first time playing it gives the message:

Failed to execute 'appendBuffer' on 'SourceBuffer': This SourceBuffer is still processing an 'appendBuffer or 'remove' operation.

It plays immediately after I refresh the page but when I try to skip ahead in the play bar it just buffers forever. Hope that helps.

I love Illusion and I'm excited for it but given how they release patches and expansions how would you handle that?

I remember Kitty Media and I'm pleasant suprised to see it added to FAKKU's line up. Just reading the presser and seeing the screenshots brings back massive nostalgia. I can't wait to see this.

Hey everyone,

Just a heads up School Love Net is going to be delayed a couple months with shipment (looking at February). This book is a special situation for us file wise (straight from the artist) versus from Wani's pre-pressed files. So it requires more back and forth than normal to get the colors right, and because this is a full color book it's especially important to us that we handle it properly to make sure the colors match the Japanese edition as close as possible. I'm sorry for the inconvenience it may cause!

Quality takes time. No rush for my collection, the digital will suffice 'til then.

I had to check my calendar because I thought Christmas has come early.

The redraws are pretty apparent and really cleans up the expressions. I wonder if these redraws are for both language releases or for FAKKU?

Still, the extra effort is much appreciated.

Hey guys, quick update.

After quite the wait, we've finally received the signed Mildred copies. However, a number of books were damaged in transit. Stay tuned for more news later this week.

It sucks for some of those books to be damaged, meaning the remainder are all worth more.

EDIT:

Has there been any news to the sign copies of Mildred?

I can't find Nico Shame on the store section, I want to buy both books in one cart rather than seperately via the purchase button on their respective pages.

Can't you just add them to the cart through the purchase buttons?

The purchase button automatically takes you to the checkout with just the single doujin. To be honest, I also like to buy a few at a time especially if multiple doujinshi get released around the same time. There are a few doujinshi other than Nico Shame that for some reason don't show up in the store:

Hypnosis Man's Naughty Sister Training
Mating with Oni ~Mother & Daughter Chapter~ (this one does have a page in the store, but it's for some reason not on the doujin tab)
Victim Girls R: Molester Eradication Campaign

I'm quite sure you can just not go through with the checkout process and they should stay in the cart. Would make sense, at least...

Unfortunately it doesn't add to cart though being able to do so would solve the problem. Having to punch in payment info for every individual item can get rather tedious.

Added the cover illustration, which features Kiritani-sensei from the Brush series.

I'm gonna get the book regardless, but I'm guessing the brush series will move away from subscription to this book.
