Huh...I never knew Tomoyo After had a translation project. I figured it was one of those "Yeah...maybe later" sorta awesome games.Regardless, it's gone open. Baka-Tsuki has the updates.

This is great news. Awesome news.
I'm glad it's an open project too. I guess I'll go translate a few of those sections when I have nothing to do.
Piano: I'm at the formal competition level (yep, tuxedos and stuff) in this instrument, and have to give a recital every semester in university. As of now, I am focusing on Liszt, Chopin, and Brahms in preparation for my senior year lecture recital.
Naturally, with pianistic skills and experience and knowledge as a musician, I can also do synth.
Guitar: Picked this up in high school; I know more than enough to be in a band, although I'm not spectacular or anything. Acoustic, electric, bass guitars I can do, but most self-respecting musicians know how to play the guitar anyway.
Drums: Same deal here as with the guitar.
Flute: Dabbled a bit in it, but not really that good at it. Can play simple stuff, such as the sequences sometimes used in pop music.
Cello: Same deal here as with the flute.
I also have perfect pitch and the ability to play by ear without the need to transcribe. I also know how to play the harmonica, recorder, glocks, xylophones and other easier instruments/percussion.
Although, all in all, I feel how many instruments you know how to play isn't important at all; it's how good you are at them. My pianism far surpasses the other instruments I can play, but it's more than enough. God knows how many times I've just sat in front of the piano playing songs I really liked by ear. In fact, just yesterday, I improvised "Light Colors" from Tomoyo After and the ending song from To Heart 2 XRATED.
I'll take this opportunity to advertise that piano thread of mine.

Okay, I admit, the lines in this one were kinda crappy, but it's still nice porn. The discussion thread for this release can be found here.

Hello, friends of FAKKU! Today, I have for you part 2 of Shoujo Material by Naruko Hanaharu!
We released chapter 1 secretly earlier under the name Suteki just to see who would notice it was us. Turns out, not very many. >_>
Anyway, this chapter is the continuation of the full color chapter 1. Nikon is the editor and Raze (me) is the translator. We are working on the other chapters as well, so it's safe to say you can expect more from this tanko coming in the next few weeks.
A translation thread for the ENTIRE tankoubon where you can discuss, download, and leave your appreciation can be found here. That includes chapter 1, this chapter, and all future chapters.
I was going to put up other stuff too, but I've been sitting in front of the computer for too long getting this to you and need a break. For now, I guess.

well....i hav read the manga of Tomoyo After in Onemanga.com and i find its slightly different from Raze explanation Spoiler:

probably should hide that last bit in [spoil][/spoil ] And yes i noticed the difference as well.Guys, I have a confession to make.
I just replayed the epilogue and it turns out I misread one line. The most important line in the epilogue. I'd make excuses, but let's just say I was playing the game when I wasn't supposed to and couldn't 100% focus on it. Now this one line completely changes how the rest of the epilogue should be interpreted.
In any case, what this means is that the game ends in the same way as the manga does. And it has made me extremely depressed.

Oh man I just watched episode 24, and Raze was right.
I'm always right. And what's more, I'm always right about a week too early.
After a bit of searching, I find that someone has released the extra CGs from the PS2 version of Tomoyo After:

Unfortunately, to get the link revealed, you need to reply to the thread, and right now, they're not accepting anymore user applications. So, if anyone here has an account there, please reupload it here for me! XD
EDIT:: Some kind soul on /a/ uploaded it for everyone, so here's the link:

I'm sad that Heath Ledger is gone, because I don't know if anyone will be able to do the role justice in his stead. He took the role Jack Nicholson was great in, and made it godly.kannaxxkarin wrote...
this movie has become one of the most anticipated movies of 2008 for Australia. Heath Ledger you will be missed and forever this shall be your legacy.cecil20xx wrote...
A shame about Heath Ledger. There will not be another movie quite like this.Indeed, one wonders exactly who they'll find as a replacement (Heath Ledger's Joker is an acting milestone), or if they'll even find one, out of respect for the dead man.
Again, impressive sketches f0dd3r. Your style is more of the modern non-pop art, and it's very sensual. I particularly like the quick study you just posted; the breasts are very well done.
It isn't clear where her left leg is though.

I swear, they should have just made a Clannad season two with just her kicking the shit out of delinquents. XDShe actually becomes the most feminine thing (by Japanese 2D standards) possible by the events of Tomoyo After. Just because I can, I'll list a few traits of her the game constantly brings up:
- Just... look... at that killer body of hers.
- Her hair is long. Feminine, in my opinion. XD
- She smells very nice. Apparently, she uses a type of expensive shampoo. =S
- *GASP* Her saliva is sweet! O_O
- She loves children (perhaps overly so, as exemplified in the third arc). In fact, it's her only weakness.
- She is a very, very good cook, and a good housekeeper (now, I'm not saying that to be feminine is to stay at home, cook, and clean the house; nonetheless, these are attributes that are considered feminine in Japan, where women are still considered inferior to men in status).
- She denies it a lot, but is a real pro when it comes to all things ecchi.
- She's a little ditzy, which is really cute.
- She has this... feminine charm. Difficult to explain, but if you've played the game, one part where this really shows is the last series of scenes in Day 7 of the After Arc. She is just the most beautiful thing ever there.
I said a few, but I went off by myself too. >_<
I'm too good looking to be seen right in the face, which is why my avatar is censored.
It's all for your own good, Fakkers. XD

I would like to point out that the raw of episode 24 of clannad, the dvd special is now available through the proper channels. Fittingly, it's an alternate ending with Tomoyo, too bad I have virtually non-existent Japanese language skills so I had to guess what happens - though it seems to be fairly straight forward.Yeah, I watched it last night, Jacob linked me to the torrent. It's basically a super-compressed version of the Tomoyo arc in the game. I was mildly disappointed with it, since a lot of the magic that made the arc so amazing in the game was missing or weak in the anime OVA version, and the pacing was ridiculously fast. But of course, I have to commend the animators for managing to compress and entire game arc into 21 minutes of anime.
But Tomoyo totally saved the episode with her charm. What a girl she is, damn.
