Ozma (IX) was just plain annoying. You couldn't really do anything about it, he either kills himself or he blows away your whole team in one turn. On my first try, I was prepared to the max just to have him one-shot my whole team for inevitable maximum damage with Meteor. I encountered him prepared to the absolute maximum and I still had to struggle and make sudden changes in my strategy because he kicked so much ass in his final phase.And well, I couldn't play a game without beating all the optional bosses. It's pretty much my only goal from the beginning - the whole time through the game I'm just planning the best course for my characters to be at high potential when the time for the optional bosses comes - the story-dependent bosses are pretty boring, for example after I beat Yiazmat and went to the final boss I struck him down with two turns from Fran with her Wyrmhero blade, good game.
Funny story - the first time I fought Ozma, I beat him without breaking a sweat. I was amazed and a little disappointed. My friends were jealous and wanted to know how I did it. I didn't really have anything to tell them. It was just luck that Ozma did shitty a job the first time I tried to fight him.

If you want to think seriously about it, SSJ4 doesn't make any sense. SSJ3 was something that wasn't meant for the living world; that's what Goku himself said. Something more powerful than SSJ3 existing in the living world, and not the world of the dead, is preposterous.
That said, it's just a wacky fighting anime. Things don't have to make too much sense.
Nicely put amigo! I myself had no idea Toriyama was not involved in the GT series. Wow! It makes sense when I think about it, because I can't stand most of GT. There are some really cool fights [mainly the SA17 fight] but most of the episodes inbetween are actionless and boring. Those were really good points you had! I'll +rep you in the morning.

If you really love Dragon Ball, you should read the manga. It's Dragon Ball and DBZ, but with all the filler stuff cut out, and fights don't last ten episodes when only two are needed.

The question is, who hasn't beat them? I remember my first playthrough: Since I neither wanted to do Chocobo breeding (For Mime and KotR materia.) nor Death Penalty leveling, I did Emerald first with Yuffie's Conformer combined with Doom of the Living and had Cloud Omnislash all the time, easy. Traded the Earth Harp for the Master Summon and beat Ruby with KotR spam, also easy. I think the Weapons from VIII were more entertaining.
I actually didn't beat either one, because I got tired of doing all the shit to get ready. I could have kept working on it and beaten them, but shit, when you've already spent one hundred hours playing the game, everything gets really old, especially kicking the asses of weak enemies for hours to power up your materia.

Because if the world government was corrupt, to where would people flee? If I'm upset about gay marriage being banned in the United States of America, I can go to Canada or Spain, where it's legal, but in a world government, if something is banned, there is nowhere to go. Thus, it is imperative that before a world government take power, it is certain that the right things will be legal and the right things will be illegal. There's a lot of conflict about that sort of thing all over the world. Look at age of consent laws, gay marriage, gun laws, etc.
I think it is what we are all headed towards, and I do hope a united Earth system does one day come, but I doubt it will happen in our lifetimes. Even if such a system was created right now, it would only fail. Look at the United Nations.

Well, VIII in a way is easier, and in a way is harder. It's harder in that enemies level up with you, so you might never be able to walk around a field and easily kill anything that comes at you. But it's easier because bosses can only go so far, so if you get to a high level early on, all the bosses are easy as hell. Actually, I guess the enemies leveling up makes the game a lot easier, because you don't have to spend hours killing weenie level two enemies just to go up a level.
