I think I mentioned it long time ago, but not here.
But in my opinion it would be better for newer books since most of the released ones were already (fan) translated for years, and besides only subscribers can write on the subscription forums/chapters (which is pretty stupid to me).

Everything has to go. No such thing as half legit. The jap companies wouldnt want it either. Do or die.You realize that it's exactly what Fakku was for more than a year, don't you?
nice try
Forgetting and denying the past the past is a sin. Fakku was, even for a transition period, half-legit.
So shut up.
lol, and i always thought people started "looking forward" motion.
doesnt matter if it WAS half-legit. the main issue was:
can it stay half-legit.
didnt think about that part, huh?
Then don't say "there's no such hing as half-legit", because that's exactly what Fakku was. Even if it was meant for just a period.

Oi, one of these retarded threads with a poll that includes an "OP is a fag" option as if that absolves them. You're terrible and get out.you sound like a whiny fag. why don't you get out lmfao
I'm not the one who made a thread whining about Fakku and said:

1) the fact that you're not a pirate is one. unless you're proud to be one then there's no helping it. too bad some people, like me, look down on those things. don't worry though, pity doesn't kill. the content will come, but that's a matter of time. pretty much Netflix and crunchyroll never had their current content from the start already shows you want to argue with unfair methods, but that's fine. I never expected pirates to make neutral arguments.edit: if Fakku joins forces with authorities, they can shut down your favorite free sites too. they would have that right. dunno if Jacob will go that far though... in which I'll think of him a little less if he doesnt. or more like take down things that exist here from other sites. hence you're "i can find it somewhere else" can become a fallacy. don't worry tho, that's probably not gonna happen to parody doujins... I think... I sure would love tho.
2) again, the assumption that Netflix/Crunchyroll should be the basis price is stupid mainly because those subs aren't adult in nature. go look for a legitimate adult site to compare sub prices. goes to show again you never paid for porn.
I am a pirate and I pity you.
Have a nice day.

First and foremost, Fakku is Legal.Second, Fakku isn't trying to compete with other "Free" sites
You seem to forget othe fact that there are still users who haven't paid attention to Fakku's pirate-to-legal transition.

I agree with Rage - for example, Netflix, which has also started from nothing, now offers a price of 10$/m, if I'm correct. and that's in the US.Fun fact, I just checked - the Netflix price for my country is equivalent to 8,6$/m - not exactly super cheap, but on a whole different level than Fakku's 12,95$/m, especially since I'm getting high-quality stuff that I can spend hours and hours of time watching for 8,6%m VS one doujin per day (usually), which I can read in about 3 mins, for 12,95$/m.
not only that, the problem is in the Japanese market not being interested enough in overseas media outlets - not matter what you do, if they do not want to cooperate, you lose.
Netflix wasn't always that cheap, or with a lot of content at the beginning.
But yeah, I get your point.

Also permit me to call you out for being a retard.
Oh I know I'll get flamed for being an asshole again but fuck it. I'm not here to repeat what everyone here keeps repeating like a well-meaning parrot.
You sir are a complete and utter moron, You and everyone still complaining about the removal actually, and this stands by the fact that you didn't even connect the dot and jump ship when Fakku got the Wani license.
As soon as Fakku took a step toward being a publisher this announced the programmed death of scanlation on the site, With the site becoming a business you can't afford to still provide illegal content, or else you'll get in trouble at some point, it was only a matter of time and you got a year and a half to pack your shit and jump to another land. You can already be happy they didn't remove everything back in end 2014.
With this time frame and the gigantic explosion that was the announcement of Fakku's partnership with Wani, because that shit provoked quite the shitstorm, you have no excuse for not having left sooner.
Also keeping the scanlation was a problem detractors also mentioned, calling Fakku a bunch of hypocrite for still keeping illegal content, Fucked if you do, Fucked if you don't, might as well do the right thing.
tl;dr: if you actually believed legal and illegal stuff would coexist on the site forever you are an idiot beyond saving.
Removal of content is not what he's complaning, but the way it was handled.
And I agree with that. However, what's done is done.

The problem is with them not with us nor with you Fakku. They don't release their works properly; that is outside their country. They don't love the people who love their works. They simply don't love us back.Everyone knows how they hog Japan stuff with themselves. Their games are exclusive to them, mangas and other goodies as well. Not knowing we love their goods MORE THAN their own people do. How could we play and buy their games if they are in Japanese? How do we buy mangas LEGALLY if they are not even available or even if they are, they stay in Japanese. NOT EVERYONE OF US KNOWS HOW TO READ THEIR LANGUAGE.
[...]
That's just a lot of projecting, sorry.

Is there some kind of compiled list of these resources, though?I definitely agree with the topic. If I see an artist I like, I'd love to be able to quickly find how long they've been working and a little bit about them.
This is also something I always wanted, info of artists (I think only Bosshi has it).
But for the moment, as I said, we only have to contact them through twitter and their blogs. The artists' pages on Fakku have direct links to their twitters and pages. But for artists that don't work for Wani you'd have to look out there.
